I was being a bit too philosophical. CBS, ABC, NYT, Etc. will be with us for a long time yet. The LaBrea tar pits are a ways off. But someday someone will look back with glee and say: "wow, CBS had the audacity to try to throw a Presidential election? And they got caught . . .cool!
