Dear Helen,
There are so many countries in the world where you can live with the kind of government you haved espoused for the past 60-70 years. Why don't you find one and live out your remaining days basking in that oppression and leave us alone.

Interesting..
I met a California [San Fran] Democrat today - the koolaid type. He said if the President won, it would mean the end of civilization as we know it. If Kerry won, it would mean a fresh start. This guy spouted the Halliburton-Iraq war connection, and he said if Bush spent 10% of the cost of the Iraq war on building up Iraq he would make more friends in the Middle East [how naive can you get]. I noticed his internet web browser was set on www.salon.com. He probably thought Michael Moore was a genius too. Yuck.
It really wasn't worth my time to argue his points much because his reasoning was unsound. I was happy to see the back of him. Unfortunately he said he was heading back to CA to vote. I was hoping he might just forget about it.

"And it is the statement below, and no other thing, that is at the heart of the Lefts hatred for George W. Bush. Everything else is a smokescreen."
Could be. And then, might not be.
Let's look at another thing they say.....
"....more mindless wars abroad and a widening gap between the rich and the poor in this country."
Fact is, despite any drivel the left says, wars are, in a practical sense, inevitable. they can be mitigated to a huge extent, but, given that we have to deal with panty-waisted leftists when we negotiate with the enemy, was will be a part of the geopolitical landscape for the foreseeable future.
Secondly, there will always be a schism between the "rich" and the "poor". Ever thus, ere shall be. The "poor" are largely poor, not because they are the victim of circumstance, but because they visit misery upon themselves. Give some people $100 and they will parley it into a million. Give the same to some others and they'll spend it in a day.
Trust me...There's precedent on this.
My point is, leftist's prey on this. they know (as we do) that these are facts of nature. Difference is, we don't try to profiteer from it.
Leftists do.
Every time.
Without shame.
I don't ignore or ignore the religious aspect of their arrogance - but I do take it into context with the other things that make leftists insane.
Take care......

To: O.C. - Old Cracker
If reelected, Bush -- who has injected religion into public affairs more than any president has in modern times -- is expected to continue his messianic mission in the White House. He will blur even more the separation of church and state. DAHHHN DAUHN DAHHHHHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNNNN!
