Isn't Algore going also?
I hope that this backfires in his face.
Did some checking and Halliburton has revenues of $20 billion, and turns a profit of 1.7%.
Simiiar size General Dynamics, that has a lock on most of the naval contracts has revenue of $19 billion, and turns a profit of 5.8%
McDonalds flips $18 billion hamburgers, and turns a profit of 9.8%
So, Breck boy, tell us of another company in the world that is willing to take on the Iraq "quagmire" to earn a measley 1.7% profit, when you could flip hamburgers and improve your profitability by 475%??
I can't hear you!
DESPERATION TIME FOR THE DEM-RATS
And when that flops maybe they'll try Enron again.
Halliburton now pales next to the bin Laden tape. Nobody cares about this anymore.
EXACTLY
seize it? they ordered it, didn't they?
So you're saying Bob Dole was more ineffective than John Kerry?
Shocker! Kerry campaign grabs on to MSM bush bash du jour! Nah! No conspiracy.
Still shows Kerry has no message and is an empty suit!
You said, "I've never seen a more ineffective presidential campaign." Dole's campaign was ineffective from start to end. But here, on the day before the election, Kerry still has a chance to win.
If Kerry's campaign is so ineffective, it follows that we'd be in deep trouble if it were much better than it is.
I don't know how many people saw it, but the pre-election 60 Minutes Bush hit piece aired right on cue. Hopefully, most of the undecideds and easily-duped were out trick-or-treating, or watching something deep such as The Simpsons.
You had me at "Kerry Campaign Seizes."
It's because of the MEDIA, and Bush's "new tone" that Kerry is even close.
More efforts should have been made to discuss Kerry's anti-war activities, including footage of him throwing his medals over the fence (if such video exists). The media has told lie after lie after lie after lie about Bush, Iraq, and many other issues.
Bob Dole is a good guy, but was the wrong candidate in 96.
Frankly, I just can't wait for this campaign to be over. I know that if Bush wins, the criticism will not stop. It will increase exponentially.
