Sad and true. Well, I would add, except for Republicans and anyone professing faith in a non-new-agey religion, often one in the same.
He was an Resident Assistant who refused during sensitivity training to wear a pro-Lesbian pin and made some choice comments along the lines of "I'm not going to wear the Leahy-ing pin."
Then they fired him.
