I agree with you
If that were the case, the 'bad guys' would have to give the original to all parties -- which isn't likely to happen. In past instances, CIA has authenticated based on what has been aired on al-ja-queer tv -- I doubt the CIA obtained the "original" from ajq in those instances.
1. Why are you holding the tape?
2. Why did you hold back the last 15 minutes?
3. What are you afraid of???
4. Do you know what your mission was SUPPOSED to be i.e. report news?
FROM DRUDGE, re a tape excerpt...
"You are guilty, guilty, guilty. You're as guilty as Bush and Cheney. You're as guilty as Rumsfeld and Ashcroft and Powell...," the man states.
Notice how all the people on our side who the lefties HATE ... are singled out for mention. Starting to get suspicious here.
The point here is that ABC with held the last 15 minutes from the CIA, as in the CIA didn't get to listen to the complete tape.
I you recieve a politically motivated terrorist death threat on the president and edit it so that your political ends are served by the death threat rather than what the terrorists originally stated, you have become part of the crime.
It's like finding a bomb threat on a plane and deciding to get involved by tearing off the portion you don't want the pilot to see, then presenting the modified thereat to the stewardess.
Why would this take "nerve"? To me, it's just the right thing to do.
If republicans were more facile with quick responses, the president ought to go to the people. Link this with the CBS documents, the fake munitions story. Tell people what is at stake and how they are being lied to in the face of a terror threat.
floats to the top
Actually.....the MSM does NOT believe in GOD, but they all believe they are above the LAW!!!
Trust me on this one: the CIA has heard everything.
Government has the missing 15 minutes that's how the source knows ABC gave edited tape.
ABC tampered with evidence. PERIOD.
Man you took the words right out of my email I just sent to ABC. Read this and everyone write to them. ABC.Audience.Relations@abc.com
Mr. Westin, Halperin and Jennings,
Today you said this: "This is not something you just throw out there while people are voting," the ABC source explained.
WHO IN THE HELL ARE YOU TO PLAY GOD! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT! YOU HAVE PUT YOURSELF ABOVE ALL OTHERS AND DECIDED WHAT WILL AND WILL NOT BE NEWS. YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED BECAUSE AMERICANS ARE SICK AND TIRED OF THIS HYPOCRISY! THAT IS THE SORRIEST EXCUSE I EVER HEARD FOR WITHHOLDING INFORMATION FROM THE PUBLIC. HAVE YOU NO SHAME???? AMERICANS ARE GOING TO RISE UP AGAINST THIS AND WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!
My name
OK
latest report on Drudge -- http://www.drudgereport.com/abct2.htm
I can't believe ABC went this far. I'm stunned. I know I shouldn't be, but I am. What kind of country do we live in?
I didn't do this graphic, but I can have some friends check off the MSM traitors as they implode.
Thanks. Right now I just wish I could wring ABC's collective neck.
Halperin Memo Dated Friday October 8, 2004 It goes without saying that the stakes are getting very high for the country and the campaigns - and our responsibilities become quite grave I do not want to set off (sp?) and endless colloquy that none of us have time for today - nor do I want to stifle one. Please respond if you feel you can advance the discussion. The New York Times (Nagourney/Stevenson) and Howard Fineman on the web both make the same point today: the current Bush attacks on Kerry involve distortions and taking things out of context in a way that goes beyond what Kerry has done. Kerry distorts, takes out of context, and mistakes all the time, but these are not central to his efforts to win. We have a responsibility to hold both sides accountable to the public interest, but that doesn't mean we reflexively and artificially hold both sides "equally" accountable when the facts don't warrant that. I'm sure many of you have this week felt the stepped up Bush efforts to complain about our coverage. This is all part of their efforts to get away with as much as possible with the stepped up, renewed efforts to win the election by destroying Senator Kerry at least partly through distortions. It's up to Kerry to defend himself, of course. But as one of the few news organizations with the skill and strength to help voters evaluate what the candidates are saying to serve the public interest. Now is the time for all of us to step up and do that right.
There, that's the kind of idiots that withhold stuff, the kind that think only they can "evaluate" what is said!
