yeah like they carried 400 tons of wmd out in their pockets????
The Times is a toilet rag.
Hmmmmmm I wonder if the Times has an office in the UN HQ?
Seems to be coordinated with something or someone who might want to influence the election?

I don't want to sign in.
Is the munitions AK cartridges? Shells? It was a huge place.
How did the NYTimes find 4 so quickly? Are they named? Why would they confess to such an act?

BTW, all sorts of sites were looted.
Ddin't have to loot either, all sorts of caches hidden.
NYTimes might be working on confusion of the word "munitions" to mean in the public the nasty stuff supposedly used in nukes. (Nukes??)

Maybe there were people there but for other things since it wasn't guarded -
I have a question: I didn't see a reason - so I'm asking -
Why is a thread "locked" - ? Where you can't post to it -
To: Shermy
It does not matter, they planned this, and got their headlines for Kerry.
They went with a incomplete story on purpose, to have it debated and put Bush on the defensive with something he had no way of knowing the facts on, because only Bush needs facts, not Kerry.
God help us.

For a contextual perspective, does anyone here thing that during the LA/Rodney King Riot in 1992, that the looters could have organized and hauled 380 tons of anything away?

I got an e-mail response from the NYT stating that they are and will continue to stand by their story and that I was mistaken...that the story was not bias!!! JERKS!!! Can't see the freight train cuz the tunnel is too dark!

Could because they don't want egg on their face - at least not just before the election - :)
Sure is becoming a fascinating story - which turn will it make next - ?
I saw another post that said the amount of weapons was wrong - instead of 300 and some - it was 3 and some - in amount - wonder which number is closer - to what it actually was -

And how did they carry out 400 tons in their pockets? NYT is beyond unbelievable, they're laughable.

Do these guys happen to know the VC in Vietnam who corroborated the Kerry story for ABC?

This just in, Iraqi officials still have not found the missing explosives, they have, however, in the course of their search found 58,000 Broward county absentee ballots...

This adds up to a non sequitur of their original premise. They must not teach logic in J school.
