Sheesh! A total lunar eclipse on the same night that the Red Sox might [4 innings to go] end the "curse." Man, the wierdos explaining the connection to us will be out in droves in Boston if this happens.

Amazingly, it's clear in Seattle where it otherwise rains all the time.

Totally clear in the Pacific Northwest, and the moon's just about disappeared. Beautiful!

Thanks for the heads up. I'm on a trip and this is my only link to the real world. I saw a full moon last night, and just saw a half moon a few minutes ago. I thought I was going nuts.

There's a picture on Drudge from a previous eclipse. It's almost full now.

The moon would be rising here in a couple hours and there are heavy clouds to the east, so we will probably not see this. Heavy clouds that dropped some heavy wet snow--a few inches--yesterday.

South shore of Lake Erie (Sandusky, OH) - Low scuddng clouds providing brief glimpses. But in the clear spots, the atmosphere is very clear.
