Tech specs:
7.62 x 51mm (9.7g/853 mps): http://www.militaryfactory.com/munitions/detail.asp?munitions_id=11
7.62 x 39mm (7.98g/740 mps): http://www.militaryfactory.com/munitions/detail.asp?munitions_id=13
The 51mm is faster (fps), with more knockdown power, and at a greater distance (http://www.snipercountry.com/Articles/Thoughts_ShootingExtremeRanges.asp).
I like my Barrett M82A1 .50cal BMG better, for long distance, "reach out and touch me", work. 2,000m (1 mile) is a l-o-n-g distance call.
My AR-10's forte is medium range work: 600-850yds.
My Class III AR-15s passion is up close, and very personal.
My Kimber "Eclipse Target II" 1911A1 .45cal ACP and Glock 32/.357 SIG are for real close work.
My Remy 870 Synthetic Tactical Riot 12ga, and Beowulf .50cal are excellent home defense weapons.
All of the above are fitted with Leupold, EoTech or Trijicon glass.

Kill them both. Allowing them to live via a 'plea deal' is cheapening and killing society's innocents, who are the prime victims.

You're most welcome to *treat*, b, but don't even consider *tricking* the place. I've got Claymores and Concertina Wire, all over the place. LOL!

HE gets a 'life sentence', while HE gave his victims a death sentence.
This piece of trash, NEEDS a lethal injection.....FIRST, an injection of pig's blood, THEN, the OTHER lethal injection.
Keeping him alive in prison will do NO good. The religion of PIECE is thriving in there. And they are a real and present danger.
If their mosques["holy" places] are breeding/preaching grounds for violence/attacks/'let's-get-the-infidels', what makes ANYONE think that a prison setting is NOT a time bomb waiting to go off?????
To: Ghost of Philip Marlowe
thanks -- hadn't thought of that. i know that farakhan, whose religious predecessors were preaching an overthrow
of the gov't in the mid 1930s, has a lot of power, esp in the prisons. thanks for putting 2 plus 2 together for me

Might I also suggest Mr Ronnie's new 25MM sniper rifle?
And you might enjoy some of Mr Mcnett's (aka www.doubletap.com) new .357 Sig offering
.357 Sig 125gr. Gold Dot JHP
For those that love the .357 Sig, we have the perfect loading for you! The .357 Sig was developed to match the .357 Magnum in speed and power using a 125gr. bullet (1450fps). Recently there have been no options for the serious .357 Sig shooter to get this velocity. At DoubleTap we have developed a loading that combines speed, power, and match grade accuracy! All of this and we use a flash suppressed powder for virtually no muzzle flash.
Caliber : .357 Sig
Bullet : 125gr. Gold Dot JHP
Ballistics : 1450fps / 584 ft. lbs. 4"bbl
He also loads a nice...subtle yet effervescent 95 gr GD in 9X25 Dillion gettin' out of the pipe
at 2100 fps if I am not mistaken

He'll waste away like a maggot on a carcass, just like he deserves to do. He'll have nothing but bitterness to confront each day for the rest of his long life. Death would spare him this torture.Aftually, he'll probably reading books, newspapers, watching color TV, lifting weights, etc....
