Man that sucks that our military isn't embarassed from this. Could have been a Kerry victory while at the same time making the US look inept. (Sarcasm)

CBS is ignoring the NBC story.

Howard Wolfson and Jamie Reuben were on Fox and Friends this morning bobbing and weaving. Wolfson said, "there were still questions.." and Reuben was trying to change the subject.
Some days it stinks to be a flack.
To: RockinRight
Yes, the MSM is trying hard to ignore it. Fox News and Friends was outraged by the terrible reporting by the NYT. We'll see what Poodle and Breck Girl say, but if i were Bush I would hang this goose around Kerry as evidence of his lies and as evidence of saying and doing anything to get elected.
To: NotchJohnson
NYT is still flacking the story on their front page. They are going to ride this horse into the dirt, just like CBS with the fake documents.

CBS won't do any retracting. They are still sore from Memogate. It is the NYTimes who has the most online. I think all they will do is keep spinning the story and hope something else turns up or let it fizzle.

I detest those two flacks.....they are both Clinton bathwater drinkers.

"CBS is ignoring the NBC story"
From what I hear this a.m., NBC is ignoring the NBC story.
To: Ann Archy
With a cluster, but they did pull in their horns and tried to
talk about other issues. I wonder how hard Kerry will hit this today, if at all.
To: NotchJohnson
The NY Times was so anxious to help Kerry in this campaign that they released this stale information a week too early. If they released it next Sunday, it might have had an effect since there would be almost no time to refute it.

Watching the Today Show this morning, it appears NBC is ignoring NBC's story.
Matt to Tim: "How does this 'missing weapons' story affect the election?"
Tim to Matt: "It affects it a lot, Matt. It dominated yesterday's news cycle and allows the Kerry team to put Bush on the defensive."

Fox and Friends discussed this. Mentioned NBC embed who was with the Army, and mentioned that the IAEA guy had told the UN BEFORE the war. The story is on the front page of the NYT, without the NBC report.
