Yeah, yeah, Fortunate Son. No, hadn't heard about it lately, that's why I forgot it's name. heh

Did you see the WND piece on 'Discovered Papers: Hanoi Directed Kerry'? I hope the memos aren't done on a computer.

I think this may be the story that I saw somewhere that Thomas Lipscomb will report on Wednesday in the NY Sun. Hopefully, the Sun article will make it to MSM.

Oops, I changed the subject. Sorry

Kerry wouldn't know HMX from a bicycle - BMX.
Of course, if he had attended some of those intelligence committee meetings, maybe he WOULD know the difference. And know that the explosives had already been removed by reading the reports.

Just anoother example of him talking a story he knows nothing about. But, never mind that, he would have kept America safe by allowing Saddam to remain in power with the explosives - under seal?

But don't you realize those seals are made out of really, really tough paper? And as everyone in France knows, Saddam was at least ten years away from developing PCS (Paper Cutting Scissors) technology. /sarcasm

I can hear it now. John Kerry: "I demand an answer from the President....never mind..."

If a connection can be shown that CBS and the NYT was hellbent on influencing the election, they should be stripped of their freedom to cover politics and both left to die on the same vine.

I am damned fed up to my eyebrows with CBS trying to influence the will of the people in their favor.

That whole White House is filled with geniuses. The MSM underestimates even the smarts of the President every single time.

Hey Kerry, still time to retract your stupid statement, aw nuts, too late. Imagine the world of Kerry and his handlers who have no idea of what to do or what to say except to react negatively to everything Bush does. Bush puts mayo on his sandwich? Kerry says, "it was wrong for Bush to put mayo on his sandwich, I would have put something different on it". Well we know what condiment Kerry would most likely put on his sandwich. But he would be better served to put ketchup on his campaign it smells so bad.

Last night before bed my stupid ISP had it as top story. This morning it is still listed as a top story (BUT...the link does not work and says the story has expired). I knew yesterday (thanks to FR) that the major flaw in the story was the NYT did not mention the timing of the dissapearance. So now CNN confirms it was gone before the troups arrived. But the damage has been done. I have to mass email everyone now to get the truth out.

MSM sucks.. BahHumBug...

In a letter to the IAEA dated October 10, Iraq's director of planning, Mohammed Abbas, said the material disappeared sometime after Saddam's regime fell in April 2003, which he attributed to "the theft and looting of the governmental installations due to lack of security."

Abbas forgot to mention – or the UN left it out of the news release – that it was Saddam’s lack of security, no ours.

Ooooh! Yes. It does make me wonder about where the other
Weapons of Mass Destruction were frantically carried off to
by Saddam's crew.

Speaking of, how's DUh reacting to the story?

They're saying it's a lie. And it appears many FReeper have posted on the thread in question and their comments have been removed and they've been banned.

You mean to tell me - - -

"BAGHDAD FELL ON APRIL 9, 2003. ACCORDING TO NBC,
TROOPS FROM THE 101ST AIRBORNE ARRIVED THE NEXT DAY
TO FIND THAT THE MATERIAL WAS ALREADY GONE?"

So, did this mean Saddam moved WMD?
Kerry said they were, didn't he? Don't look at me.

Bwa ha ha ha ha

"oops. Kerry stepped in a 350 ton pile and now it's up to his knees and, once again, NYT + CBS and other campaign media take another shot against their pathetic lack of credibility. Worse for Kerry he that now he looks like a complete idiot for grabbing on to this. Karl Rove must be laughing his head off! Not only have US forces destroyed 250,000+ tons of other stuff Kerry would have also presumably preferred to have been kept under the control of Saddam Hussein. What a buffoon!"

Bye Bye press credentials. The first amendment does not provide for the free press to be shills of a political party.

I cannot wait till Bush's press conference. Cokie Roberts will have her hand up going "oooh oooh, pick me please" and Bush will look at the press and say, "Jim Robinson, Free Republic, have a question?"

I am more inclined to believe we have one more bit of fun to ride out.. like Dick Morris is warning about. That would be dropped on Thursday this week. One they are praying we don't have the time to unravel through the news cycles.

I am grateful to Kitty Kelly for her book because it absorbed so much of the crazy crap that could have been coming out at this time.. and got it all discredited in one lump. But, I expect one juicy bit of this ilk to what they would love to release. Larry Flint's bounty has been out there a long time and they remember well how powerful the drunk driving story was for them the last time.

You know, I think perhaps, because of Bloggers perhaps the old October surprise might have to be put off for something like 60 Minutes on Oct 31 or even Monday.. to keep the lie from unraveling fast enough to kill its effect. SO, with MSM participation.. we might be having a very fun Monday Nov. 1 evening.

On Kerry's side, they have a worse problem. They have so many things to hide that any one of these breaking through would be devastating. They were scared to death that "Stolen Honor" would be aired. However, they have the advantage that almost anything that comes up will be squashed by the MSM. The tread they have to be terrified by has to come from this direction.

Kerry's discharge status is the one that the MSM couldn't cover up if it got out in an official way. The thing that runs against the discharge story is .. where are the witnesses? There had to be people at these hearings for Kerry. There had to be officials who made these decisions. Has anyone asked them? It would be nice to have the papers from the Navy Archives but it would be nicer to have 3 or 4 people saying that they know what is there and directly challenging Kerry with this cover up. Its this follow on reporting that Kerry has to be worried about in connection with any thing like "Stolen Honor". Right now, because we don't have a witnesses, this is why it doesn't break. People came forward to discuss GWB's TANG service. People have to have touched these documents if they exist in Kerry's Hidden Records.

That he has hidden records is a scandal in the first place. Thats the thing that makes my head hurt.

Kerry has to have alot of faith in the MSM always defending him and NBC pulling this little rabbit out of the hat and CNN not drinking the cool aide has to be killing them. If the MSM has the slightest wavering.. he is all of the sudden in great trouble. And, right now.. this is when the competitive pressures are the highest.

After the orgy of Political Ad revenues ends.. I think the gods of the MSM are going to look very hard at their news divisions and wonder what they have left, their credibility all burnt up. I believe there will be a bloodletting as they dump alot of hapless vipers that they used to think were journalists. Its funny, traitors are welcome and loved by the folks they help until the day after. The MSM hasn't yet come to terms with the damage they have done to 40 or 50 years of effort to establish these franchises. Bush's current poll standings show, no matter what.. that a majority of people do not trust the nightly news. That's the stunning fact. I was stunned myself when I heard that one of my most rabid Kerry supporter friends now watches FNC because they don't trust the MSM. Thats got to hurt, when the Dems wash their hands of MSM sources. This is what they have done..

I agree wholeheartedly. I just wasted about an hour posting on this.. see below.. I still think there are more surprises to come and later because they have to account for the blogosphere and not give it time to pick them apart. This argues Sunday night, Monday morning. But it has to be on every headline and on every MSM in saturation..

Fox and Friends talked about it this morning. NBC embed said they were already gone when the Army got there. elBaridi (sp?) had gone to the UN a month BEFORE the war began to say they were gone.
