I remember seeing Andre Kole (thought it was "Cole", but maybe not) live about 20 years ago. Thought it was really cool, but of course I was 9 years old at the time....

Read carefully...he pretty much debunked himself. He describes himself as an "illusionist", freely stating that there's nothing supernatural or metaphysical going on, just carefully planned and orchestrated illusions.

I saw one of those "magic explained" shows a few years ago and they offered an explanation for these.

I vaguely remember that the Wash. Mnmt. trick had to do with a slowly rotating audience platform with an arch at the front. But I never figured out the jet trick.
