Over at DU, they are in denial (again). Quoting the 18 months, and saying the war started 19 months ago. LOL. The story said "at least" 18 months ago. Kerry was supposed to be talking the economy this week, but Fox said he is staying on the WOT due to this story. Who knows, it may have been a leak by Rove to put the WOT back on the front page. Kerry and the dems are such suckers. Story debunked, just like Dan Rather. Way to go everyone. That that Kerry and DU. HA HA HA !!!!!!
Best I can tell is that the UN knew about these explosives but determined them to be of no international significance, so they allowed Saddam to keep them. Now of course they're claiming that the explosives are indeed dangerous, and that the US military screwed up, yada yada yada.
Lockhart was correct, but not in the way he intended.
Drudge last night on his radio show said that the White House leaked this. Looks like Kerry & company felled right into it.
Could they be, I don't know ... BIASED!?
I've got it - Sandy Burglar smuggled those explosives out of Iraq in his pants. We haven't heard much about Sandy for awhile - can't he please be indicted before election day???
I sense Bob Shrum is pulling the strings on the bombshells. It's not the first campaign he's destroyed with his own two fat hands.
Thanks for finding that information so quickly! I kept rememebering all day today that there was evidence that Sadaam sent a convoy out of the country about the time we invaded.
I like your idea. THIS is the surprise! hehehe
Oh, you're good!
Only question I have is who is the Defense official attributed to the following in the NYT piece?
"At the Pentagon, an official who monitors developments in Iraq said U.S.-led coalition troops had searched Al-Qaqaa in the immediate aftermath of the March 2003 invasion and confirmed that the explosives, which had been under IAEA seal since 1991, were intact. The site was not secured by U.S. forces, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity"
Lemmings don't backpeddle. They just dive right in.
15! Congratulations! You done good!
1) Leak anti-Bush ammunition to the NYT.
2) Force NBC to refute the story in the next morning's TODAY SHOW...using their own news reports from embedded reporters during the original invasion.
He's a genius.
"Senator? Would you like to comment on how foolish you think you looked after making a speech based upon shoddy reporting by the Times? Would you like to reverse yourself, or remain looking like a horse's ass? Senator? Senator???"
Sandy Burgular's indictment should be put on the fast track, right before they send him on the frog walk in a pink jumpsuit.
Thanks for a great laugh! Now I can relax and leave the computer for the night after seeing the personification of Al CACA [British spelling.]
Thanks for the ping!
