I am wondering why they would do this?Because they know the Leftstream Media will spend hours this week with lying polls over and over, to try to depress the Rep base and keep them home from the polls. Since no media will put out any truth to keep the field level, Cheney has to.

Sometimes I *wish* we had basements here in California.
There's always the old joke about weeding out the 14 million illegal aliens by supposedly hiring them as day labor, putting them in a truck so they can't see where they're going and driving them into Mexico, open the truck and run like hell.

PLEASE STOP ALL THESE ROSY PREDICTIONS. I WANT 270 ELECTORAL VOTES. THAT'S IT, ENOUGH TO WIN. It will be also nice to win the popular vote so the dims and dim media will shut the h*ll up.

"Wouldn't you love to have a peek at their polls?"
it's called the "grumpy old man poll" and it is run by one of the wisest men in america. i spoke with a republican
legislator and the polls are definitely in bush's favor. his concern is the voting shenanigans that democrats are famous for.

I'll go one better. I've been saying emphatically that Bush will carry 54% of the vote sine July 1. I stand by that prediction.
With voter fraud, Bush could still lose the election 57%-54% - tom

well, then why isn't the MSM floating polls showing Kerry up 10% right now? or even 5%?

WHY is this being leaked? Many of the Indeps and swing voters want to vote for the winner. They just can't decide on their own you know so they wait to see who they think will win. The media is going to hammer that JFK is leading in all the swing states yadayadayada for the next eight days. So Cheney is telling them Bush is going to win.

He's sandbagging. I put my money on 54%. And you can take that to the bank!

I wouldn't count chickens before they hatch. Let's hope for a nice October surprise..like capturing Zarqawi,

Just to piss off and drive the DUmmies nuts, I would love for the final numbers to be exactly that.

"They would all implode.
Hehehe. I hope so. I wanna see that!"
You might want to rethink your wish; implosions are normally pretty messy affairs and leave the contents of whatever imploded scattered in the open. It would be messy and smelly. Do you REALLY want to be at the scene?
Now, class: a bonus question for half a point: what are they full of?

They know no one would believe that, the Chrissies would bust out laughing. But ties and too close to call and leading in the battleground states, Bush is falling behind, who can disprove those?

I'm wondering at the tactical logic behind coming out and saying something like this. Also, why did they leak it a day ahead of time?
Also, if our long awaited October Surprise is coming tomorrow (as predicted) Cheney's appearance must be coordinated. After all, why would be put himself at the mercy of Lauer or Couric if he didn't have to?
To: GSlob
LOL!
NOT if I watch them implode on TV!!

After all, why would be put himself at the mercy of Lauer or Couric if he didn't have to? Good point. We all know Cheney's appearances/comments usually have some sort of meaning.

According to PowerLine, there's some sort of news story coming out tomorrow regarding Kerry, foreign policy, and Kerry lying his ass off.
