It could be a bigger win than even that: 55-45 or a close variation.

Don't even joke about that. Some DU'er will email your post to the MSM, and we will have a raft of "Republican insiders are plotting to suppress the vote" stories....

I am wondering why they would do this? its one thing to say "we will win", but to predict numerical victory, suppose some people just say "it in the bag" and don't vote? for my money, its better to say "it will be razor close, we need every vote".

True, true.

Still, can I just brag for a second: I personally have about 4 Democrats tied up in my basement. I'm feeding them biscuits and cheese, and they are allowed to watch network television as much as they want--very humane.

I will release them on November 3.

"The margin will be bigger than that."

You are correct. Cheney is underpredicting so he can have some fun with his prediction after the election.

Sounds great I hope he is right. Me however, do not like to count my chickens before they have hatched. I would rather act like we are behind even though we are probably ahead. Cheney for Prez 08!!

Good! My guess was Bush 51.7% Kerry 47.1%. We must both think alike.

(And I like Haliburton, too!)

Who does he predict this to? (Yes, I know the english is wrong, I'm just too excited to correct it). Prayerfully, it's Katie. I think I will tune in tomorrow, just to see who is the recipient of this prediction!!

I hope Cheney is correct. I am very nervous that it will be much closer.

I'd personally like to sign up for vote suppression duty. Where do I report?

You don't get a "plum" job like that just for the asking.

First you have to be a card carrying member of The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.

WHY is this being leaked? I don't think it's a good idea, however accurate it may be, to do such a thing. WHY?

53-46 or better, depending on how close it is in states such as New York, California and New Jersey. Also, how the numbers rack up in red states.

On the high side: Bush 55-56. Low end 53. Kerry highest would be 46, possibly as low as 41.

With all this handwringing and worrying, it seems everyone is ignoring how poorly Kerry is doing in Democrat strongholds. Seriously lags behind Gore--even Clinton.

It's just a lack of commitment, man.

Think about it: if each CA Freeper just locked 4 Democrats in his or her basement until November 3, the state could easily move into "Toss Up" territory.
