let put a black hole here when this is done....... have brown and root pave it .... we need more parking any way..
??????????? Is Keyes THAT bad that a Republican would knowingly vote for that Socialist S.O.B??
Don't forget to add at least 7% to Kerry's total in order to correct for the voting from Chicago's "special districts".
Hey, I live here!!!! I'll send you a map of the wards, townships and counties that need to be paved over.
No.
Oh well, it's undoubtedly bad news none the less.
I'm sure it's not the scum of Chicago who so love the marxist theives (redundant term) running for office....
Illinois is not on my radar screen. Poor Abe, to think he is stuck in Illinois!!!
Lets start with Bridgeport.
Come on now!!! You can't deprive Casper, Dracula and his dead family of thousands the right to vote. Now that wouldn't be fair :)
I'm prefacing this by saying that I'm voting for Keyes on Nov. 2, but I will say that Keyes' big mouth has won him few friends here in Illinois. Whether its true or not, the issue of carpetbagging turns a lot of people off. The communist Obama hasn't had to really lift a finger to win this seat, all he has to do is run a few soft, touchy feely ads about how he connects with the "common man", and stand back and let Keyes self-destruct.
I live in Illinois too...reserve your paving ideas to the upper third of Il...we are more conservative south of I80...
I'm convinced it will be closer than 8 points. I'm sure Kerry will win here---but won't be surprised if its' closer than he'd like.
Actually, since there are few competive races here due to the collapse of the Republican party in Illinois, there'll be a little less cheating in Cook County (Chicago and a lot of dark blue suburbs). There are a couple of scandals (Hired Truck, Building Inspectors) inching closer to Daley. Richie doesn't need a voting fraud scandal on his plate too. Tort reform is a huge issue downstate, and we'll pick up a few state legislature seats because of it. Daley's brother is not in charge of the Kerry campaign, unlike Gore's. Bush will lose here, but not by a large amount.
If we had another month, we could pull it off. There's not enough time.
good to know where to tell them to put the pay booth at.... southern half could be wind fall parking lot fees.....
OTOH, maybe Bush is afraid to be seen with Keyes, or vice versa. I wouldn't blame Keyes for avoiding any association with Bush's record of failure on the economy and in Iraq.
He was in Glenview for a Homeland Security event in July, a Republican town in northern Cook County, then he went to a private home fundraiser in either Wilmette or Winnetka.
Murrymom. TROLL ALERT. How have you been a FReeper for six years!
