You know, I do see your points about not cutting his mic, but... I think after a point, it was obvious Larry was unable to control himself, and Pat, as a co-moderator perhaps could have said, LOOK BE A FRIKKEN PROFESSIONAL and respect our guests... each deserve to be heard. And then if the little *rick continued his tantrum, Pat could've stopped the interview told John O'Neill, hey I'll personally try to get you an uninterrupted hour now. Larry probably would've had a stroke at that point.

I'm not sure how MSNBC can justify keeping him on their air......but then again,
I thought the same about CBS and Rather.

Mr. O'Donnell’s behavior last night was absolutely despicable and unprofessional. It is deceiving for MSNBC to portray him as an analyst instead of a pit bull at the service of Kerry’s campaign. MSNBC and Mr. O’Donnell should apologize to Mr. O’Neill; such a conduct by a journalist should not be tolerated, respect for the guests of the program and civility seems to be missing in Mr. O’Donnell’s professional formation.

Ya sometimes wonder if they didn't pull this "staged" outburst just for ratings. Especially when you see how composed O'Donnell was after O'Neill was gone...
