UMC churches vary in their strict biblical allegiance, as well. I visited one in Jackson, Mississippi that, except for the characteristic Arminian theological bent of Methodism, could have passed for its Southern Baptist brethren.

To the UMC ??? Have you noticed ? your church membership has been going down hill, mostly by the young people ( because, mostly young people can stop a PHONY when they see one ).
To the UMC ??? SO ? I guess ? your going to condemn GOD himself ? because ? GOD HIMSELF COMMANDED MANY OF ISRAELS ARMYS TO GO OUT TO WAR, and GOD COMMANDED KING DAVID MANY TIMES TO GO OUT TO WAR, SO ? ARE YOU GOING TO ORDER GOD ? TO REPENT ? YOU PHONYS.
YOUR WHITE WASHED SEPLICHERS ( TOMBS ) WITH DEAD MEN BONES ON THE INSIDE. PHARISYS YOU ARE. HYPOCRISY YOU SPILL OUT OF YOUR FOUL MOUTHS. JESUS ( GOD IN THE FLESH ) HAS MORE GRACE AND COMMPASSION FOR THE FOUL SINNER, then a PHARISY HYPOCRITS YOU ARE. This so disappoints. My circuit riding, grim faced Methodist Preacher antecedants would burn these people at the stake.
