Thanks for the MSNBC link. I told them to fire O'Donnell.

I emailed them as well - a polite email, informing them that O'Donnell calling the guest a liar over a dozen times and not letting him speak was not acceptable, and that I would not watch any show Larry O'Donnell appears on in the future. I gave my name and whole bit. I want them to know I am sincere, because I am.

Naturally, the DUmmies think O'Donnell was on fire and did them proud. MSNBC has to stop passing this Kerry campaign implant as a legitimate journalist. What a douche.

I sent the swifties money and emailed joe.scarborough@msnbc.com and rick.kaplan@msnbc.com to express my upper disgust with O'Donnel ever appearing on the show again -- or Joe will not have a show to return to.

And Buchanan just sat there like a dummy doing absolutely NOTHING.

A lot of people in this thread have been attacking Pat for not "doing something," so I think I need to point something out: The anchor doesn't control the show. That's the producer's job. Plus, it's not even Pat's show; he's just subbing for Scarborough.

If Pat had gone too far in cutting off O'Donnell, it would be Pat looking for a new TV gig in the morning.

That is an interesting comment. What does Charles Colson have to do with John O'Neill?

From what I understand, he "discovered" Lt. O'Neill and brought him to the attention of Haldeman and their boss, Nixon.

A friend told me John went to Las Vegas and held a "meeting" that her son attended. Said he was awsome and handed out copies of documents that prove everything he's said... ever since her son tells everyone he meets that they had BETTER vote for Bush.

I don't have a lot of money to donate and what I do have I donate to BC'04 but after watching MSNBC tonight and seeing some other news items today I did donate to the Swiftboatvets and I would do so even if I didn't think they would have any impact on the election, they are just true Amricans that deserved to be heard.

I want to urge anyone like me that hasn't done so yet to donate to the swiftboatvets

If you think that is bad, me and my sister are both Christians and we both said, "Asshole" right out loud. Then we had to laugh about it. But it is the truth. I've written to MSMBC and also to Scarborough Country and complained and then I sent money to the SwiftVets too. I feel so much better now. LOL

According to Forbes, General Electric ranks 2nd among the top 100 companies. General Electric in case you didn't know, owns NBC and MSNBC. NBC is part of the MSM network of who wants to unsit President George Bush. On General Electric's website the Chairman of The Board and Chief Executive officer has the following statement

The "Spirit & The Letter" is the GE integrity policy, and each
GE employee signs a pledge to adhere to it when they join the company.

Jeffrey R. Immelt, 48, is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of GE. Mr. Immelt, the 9th Chairman in GE's 126-year history, was appointed to this post on September 7, 2001

Chairman & CEO Jeff Immelt's Message to Employees:

As GE learns and grows in the 21st century, three traditions of our company become more important. Along with commitment to performance and thirst for change, we must always display total, unyielding integrity.

This is a company of integrity. It's a company of standards. Our worldwide reputation for honest and reliable business conduct, built by so many people over so many years, is tested and proven in each business transaction we make.

Today's GE is far more dynamic, globally directed and customer-driven than ever before. We are playing offense - trying new things to build our business success - our quality products and services; our forthright relations with customers, suppliers and each other; and, ultimately, our winning competitive record. But the GE quest for competitive excellence begins and ends with our commitment to lawful and ethical conduct. As a global company, we must create and follow a set of global rules.

Each person in the GE community makes a personal commitment to follow our Code of Conduct. Guiding us in upholding our ethical commitment is a set of GE policies on key integrity issues. All GE employees must comply not only with the letter of these policies but also their spirit.

I, and all GE leaders, have the additional responsibility of nurturing a culture in which compliance with GE policy and applicable law is at the very core of our business activities. It is, and must be, the way we work.

The stakes are high in today's business environment, and, especially while skepticism of corporate activities persists, we must meet and surpass requirements and expectations.

We must preserve and strengthen for those who will follow us what has been the GE foundation for success for more than 100 years - the GE commitment to integrity.

Cordially,

Jeffrey R. Immelt
CEO and Chairman of the Board

Three straight mornings on NBC's "Today,"
Starting Monday September 13, NBC will begin a series of interviews

"The Family: The Real Story of the Bush Dynasty"
starting Kitty Kelly:

This not only is a personal attack on the President, but on the President's family. NBC despite many controversies surrounding this book, is going ahead with these interviews.

A Kitty Surprise? (Kitty Kelly to "Out" Bush in New Book?)

ROGER SIMON COLUMN
SEPTEMBER 1, 2004

NEW YORK - - Republican insiders have been huddling in small groups at the Republican Convention this week and talking about what worries them most. It is not John Kerry. It is not the unemployment numbers. It is not Iraq.

It is Kitty Kelley.

Kelley has a new book coming out in a few weeks titled "The Family: The Real Story of the Bush Dynasty” and it is rumored to be explosive.

One source tells me there are “at least five bombshells” contained in it and another source says there is allegedly new material on President Bush’s service in the Air National Guard.

Democrats have long been worried about a Republican “October Surprise” such as the capture of Osama bin Laden. But now some Republicans are worried that Kelley’s book will be the equivalent of an October surprise and harmful to President Bush’s re-election hopes.

Why are GOP operatives taking such a book seriously? After all, some critics have dismissed Kelley’s previous books as the equivalent of tabloid journalism. But in November 2000, the Bush campaign’s internal polling showed that revelations about Bush’s 1976 arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol damaged him badly with religious conservatives and some analysts believe it cost him a popular vote victory.

So this time, Bush operatives don’t want any more big surprises, revelations, rumors or gossip to make a media splash just weeks before the election.

Which is why they are so nervous. According to the Associated Press, the Kelley opus - - it is supposed to be around 700 pages long - - is being billed as "the book the Bushes don't want you to read,” it has a first printing of 600,000 and “a virtual guarantee to annoy, if not embarrass, Bush supporters.”

In the past, Kelley has written books about Nancy Reagan, Frank Sinatra and the British Royal Family among others and her books have often contained explosive material. Kelley’s facts are sometimes challenged, but her books tend to make a big splash nonetheless.

Kelley’s 1991 book on Nancy Reagan, for example, which contained scandalous accusations, was the subject of a front page story in the New York Times by Maureen Dowd.

“Ms. Kelley has developed a reputation as a giant killer for her sensational books about the rich and famous,” Dowd wrote. “She wrote that Jacqueline Kennedy had shock treatments; that President John F. Kennedy's retarded sister, Rosemary, had a lobotomy, and that Frank Sinatra's mother was a New Jersey abortionist.

Some of these controversies, lies and innuendos include but no exclude the following:

Newsweek Rejects Kitty Kelley Book. Kitty Kelley Bush-Bashing Book Publisher Seeks Damages From Newsweek

NEW YORK – The publisher of Kitty Kelley's controversial new biography of the Bush family has accused Newsweek of allegedly violating a pre-publication agreement and said the magazine owed "substantial damages."

"We demand public acknowledgment and additional remedies," Stephen Rubin, president and publisher of the Doubleday Broadway Publishing Group, said Thursday. Rubin declined to say how much money Doubleday was seeking and whether the publisher would sue.

Media View Kitty Kelley's Bush Book With Caution.

It is the book that some Republicans have been worrying about for weeks, filled with lurid allegations by a celebrity biographer whose controversial reputation has only boosted her sales.

Kitty Kelley's volume on the Bush family won't be published until next week, but the White House communications director yesterday dismissed the book as "garbage" and a Republican National Committee spokeswoman said journalists should treat it as "fiction." With the author booked for numerous television interviews -- including three straight mornings on NBC's "Today," starting Monday -- "The Family: The Real Story of the Bush Dynasty" is certain to generate media attention in the heat of a presidential campaign.

Sharon Bush denies Kitty Kelley account Sharon Bush is quoted in Kelley's forthcoming book about the Bush family as making one of the allegations, and Kelley's editor said in an interview Tuesday that she had provided "confirmation" for the information.

Kitty Kelley thinks she knows why Larry King hasn't asked her to discuss her new book. Scandal impresario Kitty Kelley is suggesting that CNN's Larry King won't let her on his show to promote her upcoming book, "The Family: The Real Story of the Bush Dynasty," because he's a toady of the Bush family.

"I realize how important the Bushes are to Larry," Kelley E-mailed me. "He does not want to lose their friendship or offend them in any way. And having me on his show would probably anger the family, because they made their feelings clear from the beginning ... when the former President Bush called my publisher [Doubleday] and said he did not want this book written and would not cooperate in any way. So I certainly understand Larry's refusal to book me."

Left media set to pump Kitty Kelly's book about the Bush Family next week.

Paul Harvey's radio sub, Gil Gross, repeated Kitty Kelly's charges that W used cocaine at Camp David many years ago. This came on at noon on WABC. He didn't say that the only source was an angry ex-wife of the president's brother. Even Newsweek refused to print these charges with only one source.
