Nice to see the Governor and Senate races are in single digits. I don't think Nethercutt will pull it off, but Murray's an incumbent below 50%, you never know.

I am very hopeful about Dino Rossi, however. He's a great candidate, all the newspapers seem to be endorsing him, and he's got a cash advantage over Gregoir.

I'd love Bush to carry this state, but I seriously doubt it's going to happen.

Murray up 49/41

I guess the praising of Bin Ladens philanthropic activities means a lot to the people of Seattle?

In other news, the sky is blue!

Right side of the State swings for Bush but there isn't enough of them.

I live on the Left side and am voting straight ticket Republican.

Hope that will help.

If W looks to be winning big and early, there is hope in a depressed Rat turnout. I'd love to see a shocker and see al-Murray booted....

I agree that Nethercutt;s a long shot, but he's really closed a lot of ground. One reason for hope is that when a race compressed that quickly, the polls don't often measure it right away..they lag a week or so..

"I think this explains why the President has stopped spending heavily in the state."

Good move. Write this one off. WA is becoming a lost cause, except for the Congressional seats in the eastern part of the state. I hope we don't lose Nethercutt's seat. He gave it up in a quixotic quest to knock off Osama Bin Murray, but then again he said originally he wouldn't serve as long as he had, anyway. But I hope the seat stays Republican. We need those House votes.

Yes, the news from Washington state is dismal, but here's some good news. Yesterday I drove from Spokane to Walla Walla, Washington, and Cathy McMorris has BURIED eastern Washington with her camapign. BTW, I saw ONE Kerry and ONE Barbieri sign, and a few Bush signs, but McMorris's coverage was absolutley stunning. McMorris is running for the congressional seat vacated by George Nethercutt.

By the way, don't believe ANY poll.

Two years ago in Georgia's election for governor, Roy Barnes(d) was ahead in the AJC poll 57%-43% one week before the election. Sonny Perdue(r) is now our Governor (thankfully).

Caller ID has changed polls dramatically. Participants have to be at home during the day, willing to accept and answer an unidentified caller, and be willing to participate.

I would venture to say that Republicans are less likely to fit into this mold.

Yeah, I am getting so sick of hearing her commercials I just use the mute button on them. She accused Nethercut of playing dirty politics by showing her unedited love-fest for Usama then turns around and runs ads saying Nethercutt doesn't care about people with diabetes.

His daughter has diabetes.

Like always this piece of trash will win and the State will become even more of a laughing stock.

Like the Left cares.

Here is what I say about all of these polls.....

Just put on your AFDB.........
What Is An AFDB?

An Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie (AFDB) is a type of headwear that can shield your brain from most electromagnetic psychotronic mind control carriers. AFDBs are inexpensive (even free if you don't mind scrounging for thrown-out aluminium foil) and can be constructed by anyone with at least the dexterity of a chimp (maybe bonobo). This cheap and unobtrusive form of mind control protection offers real security to the masses. Not only do they protect against incoming signals, but they also block most forms of brain scanning and mind reading, keeping the secrets in your head truly secret. AFDBs are safe and operate automatically. All you do is make it and wear it and you're good to go! Plus, AFDBs are stylish and comfortable.

What are you waiting for? Make one today!

As a Californian, I feel your pain. Boxer isn't even being challenged by Bill Jones. At least Nethercutt is trying. Keep the hope alive....
