More thoughts:

With the MILLIONS of $$$ that the Teachers unions give to the Democrats, and an almost solid voting block of teachers and "educators", how are they supposed to react to their careers being referred to in this manner?

Anyone out there got connections to the teachers unions and can get this passed on heavily???

Forget that she didn't marry until she was 31 & worked as a teacher & librarian, raised twins & was First Lady of Texas...
THK is saying that being First Lady of the United States isn't a real job.

WHOA! Being First Lady has to be the worst job & the most underpaid job in the whole United States.

My jaw hit the floor.

I don't know why, though -- this has become business as usual from these idiots.

Can you picture this "woman" as the First Lady?

We've GOT to win on November 2, or we're dead.

From Terilyn
At university in Geneva, she was a classmate of Kofi Annan at the city's School of Interpreters. Now fluent in five languages, she graduated and went to New York to become an interpreter at the United Nations, before marrying Heinz in 1966. 'I had no ambition,' she once said. 'I thought of myself as being married and having children, which is what all the ladies did.'

I don't know Laura Bush... don't know that she's ever had a real job — I mean, since she's been grown up.

I guess Teacher doesn't count huh, Teresa?

Teresa Heinz Kerry:
Graduated University in Johannesburg, South Africa and then Interpeters School at University of Genva, Switzerland in 1963
Worked as a translator for the UN
Married H.J.Heinz III 1966
No other work history other than chairing Heinz foundation which even the Kerry campaign claims is more honorary
Some work expeience, huh? Maybe 3 years at most?

Raising children is also "not a real job" according to Mama T. Of course, she had nannies to raise hers!

Just remember this woman when you go into the voting booth, and imagine hearing this garbage coming from her piehole for four years.

Now let's all calm down here - what Mrs. Heinz-Kerry is saying is perfectly consistent with other aspects of her husband's campaign, specifically his claims regarding the 'net loss' of jobs during the first 3 1/2 years of the Bush administration. Doesn't Kerry use a report that excludes people like teachers, librarians, and self-employed entrepreneurs from the group of people he considers to have 'a job'.

Frankly, I give Mrs. Heinz-Kerry, and the Kerry-Edwards campaign, credit for their consistency on this important issue.

(Now, let me see if I can get my wonderful Democrat sister, who is a teacher, to go try and claim unemployment benefits based on this logic.)

Do one of you know who are the keepers of the home-schooler and public school ping lists, if so please ping.

This is also a definite MOM type story.

This woman gives moms a bad name.
