Sadly, this is just going to make the Red Sox fan's heartbreak all the more devestating. I'm no Yankees fan, and I'd love to see the Red Sox break through this time in a historic way, but I don't see it happening...

Yeah, apparently there's a game on tonight or something. Do you happen to know who's playing?

I've decided that the Red Sox do better when I don't watch. In this series they have taken a lead or held onto a lead when I was unable to view the game for this reason or the other. I'm tempted not to even turn the game on - I realize this doesn't make any sense but I'd hate to be responsible for the curse continuing!
To: GraniteStateConservative
I believe in Miracles, but I can not watch the games, let me know how it turns out.

You Sox fans DO realize that they are just setting you up for even more heartbreak. A sweep would have been too easy. The Sox have to lose in heartbreaking fashion, that's the cruelty of "The Curse".

This is the way it was meant to be. The most heartbreaking loss in game 7. This is the best bet you can make in sports tonight. You have 86 years of history backing you up

Even though Lowe pitched a good game last time, the Yankees have done well against him the past couple of years.

Yeah, apparently there's a game on tonight or something. Do you happen to know who's playing? Some team that's going to lose to the Astros in the World Series.

No one will be out there long. If Lowe can give us two innings, we'll take it and send in the next guy. Everybody plays tonight. Dave Wallace may even pitch.

I was asked to do it last night!
Then I saw that a pre-live thread thread had been put up.
So, I said, "fine, here's the thread for those wanting to watch Armageddon go down tonight in the Big Apple and discuss it."

I don't know who has more pressure on them. I would guess the Yankees.
