A history lesson for those of us not familiar with all these details of the arguments against our involvement in the former republic of Yugoslavia.

Democrats are stupid, evil people that hate--HATE--America.
They aren't anti-war at all. They aren't peace loving and they don't give a hoot about innocent people killed in war.
To: kattracks
It has always bothered me that we waged war against a Christian nation in support of the muslim hordes. Definitely a shameful part of our history.
To: kattracks
Don Feder's right - the Democrats will fight wars with a gusto in which American national interests aren't involved.

Democrats are stupid, evil people that hate--HATE--America. Change "Democrats" to "liberals" and I'll agree with much of your point.

The sad fact is the MSN loves to keep the daily body count of the second Gulf War just like they did in the first one.
When they talk of the Kosovo war they like to say "no US casualties". That was only true during the 30,000 foot bombing part of the war. Since the occupation part the Army Times has been reporting a steady stream of US killed and wounded. Mines, snipers, vehicle accidents, one parachute jump, they all take their toll.
No, its not alot but the libs like to say "one life" stuff all the time. The last deaths that made the news was the shooting of the three troops by the muslim "peace lover".

Thanks for the ping! I'm so glad to see Don Feder back writing publically, again! Have read his columns for years and years. An astute, observant, clear-writing author.

I thought he was getting ready to talk about WWI. :)

In one of her columns, "Princess Ann" stated flat out that the only war democrats supported were those where the national interests of the US were not involved. Meaning, that if the outcome has not effect on the US, then they're all for it. If it means defending the interests of the US, then they're 100% against it!
As per the rules and bylaws of FR, here's the photo that must accompany any mention of "Princess Ann!"

Republicans didnt begin every speech by accusing Clinton of lying to the nation in his rush to justify an unnecessary war More Clinton legacy:
flu-shot makers put out of business by rulings
box cutters approved for airline carry on

This is the hardest bitch-slap I've seen in some time and the best post-mordem summation of the Kosovo fiasco.

On another thread some are urging charity towards Clinton in the wake of his heart attack & difficult recovery.
Considering his legacy in the Balkans, among others, reminds me he deserves whatever trouble his weak ticker can give him. The SOB & his socialist allies finally gave Islam the foothold in Europe they've been waiting for for 400 years.
