Two weeks to the election. If Al Queda wants to "Aznar" Bush, they have to act quickly. If Al Queda doesn't strike in the USA in the next 2 weeks, it will be a great admission of their weakness and lack of operatives able to penetrate the USA.

Well, let's look on the bright side. If they bomb Seattle, Tacoma or Olympia, Washington State will start electing Republicans again -- and maybe even conservatives.

I think an attack now would actually cause voters to rally around the President.

Probably, but does AQ understand that?
Or would they just think it would be a replay of Madrid, Spain and Aznar?

Kerry thinks terrorism is just a manageable "nuisance". Screw Skerry the coward, shicken chit. Hugs, kisses and understanding haven't kept these monsters from killing non mu-slimes in the name of ALLAH for the past 500 years. It's time to fight back.

History shows that they want to attack us because they want to attack us. Any effect on elections would be secondary.

Lets hope that all of our security people prevent any replay of what happened in Spain and Russia here in America.

"History shows that they want to attack us because they want to attack us. Any effect on elections would be secondary. "I think that's right. But it sure would highlight that our WOT has focused on the wrong targets.

Aside from killing or capturing 75% of Al Quaeda leadership you mean?
To: Dallas59
As the length of time between significant attacks tends to lengthen, it will be reinforcing evidence to the Left that terrorism should rightly considered a nuisance. The ironic truth that exposes is that following Bush's plan would be the successful way to get to the point where they may continue to call it a nuisance, so irrespective of one's view,
President Bush's policy is the way to go, and
Bush is the man to vote for as President!
With all the money federally employing Homeland Security types, dims can hardly say such money "spent to protect us" has been wasted--or would they like to try ;-) !
With all the Sharpton-claimed minority military types purportedly bearing the burden for President Bush's policies poised to vote 80% for Bush, they are hardly rallied by Sharpton or flocking to the Dim positions.
With their predilection for fanciful positions, perhaps one of their favorites, the Kama Sutra, will help them dream up yet another potential before the election.

"Aside from killing or capturing 75% of Al Quaeda leadership you mean? "Good start. But that was not enough or they have replenished, immigrated and spread while we focused on Iraq as the immediate threat.

I guess your right, based on all of the terrorist attacks this country has experienced since 911.
Oh, wait a minute...

Well, let's look on the bright side. If they bomb Seattle, Tacoma or Olympia, Washington State will start electing Republicans again -- and maybe even conservatives. Well I think you're safe. Outside the US people know Washington, NYC and LA. If there is a target it is very likely one of these. They do however fit your message in that they all vote for dims.
Hope and pray nothing happens .... well except the big Bush victory!

Have to admit that the possibility of another terrorist attack here in the US, has been on the back of my mind. It's always a possibility, considering the sick bast***s we're dealing with.
Prayers offered up for America's safety.
