She would know about fainting. She strikes me as the type of person whose circulation gets cut off all the time.

``I'm distressed that what it did was distract from what should have been a dialogue over issues that should have been raised during the third debate - domestic policy issues like health care and jobs and education,'' Edwards said. "I'm distresssssed..." Brother, she has picked up the DNC playbook pretty quickly. She sounds like Tom Daschle, only slightly less wimpy.
Liz and Teresa stick their feet in their mouths so effortlessly, they're being recruited by Cirque du Soleil.

If you want highbrow, you'd best go over to Lucianne.com.
Here we enjoy indulging in the time-honored political humor of lampoon and satire.
These literary conceits regarding political debate go back hundreds of years in Great Britain and America.
You wouldn't believe some of the lowbrow things they published in the newspapers about Abraham Lincoln!

If that fat sweaty sow rolls over on the Breck Hair Girly Man, she might smother him. I'll bet she goes 200 pounds. Sakes alive, her hygenic issues would gag a maggot.

What Cheney did was a type of cut that Miss Manners described and had a particular name for, which I can't remember. When someone gives you a back-handed compliment or, under the thinly veiled guise of saying something positive, actually insults you or yours, you should give them an icy stare, say "thank you for your concern/ interest, etc." in a flat voice, and then say NOTHING ELSE. Instead, turn and walk away.
Let their social disgrace just sit there and be observed by everyone. This is in essence what Cheney did. He even refused to use his time to comment on anything else because he wanted nothing to distract from Edwards' low blow, just let it sit there like a bad smell.
It was a snub. Cheney DID put Edwards in his place, but some people are too dense to know when they've been cut. Edwards thought that Cheney was too dumb to know that he had just been insulted, but it was Edwards who didn't understand the dynamics of what happened.

I refer you to my Post #190 for my thoughts on the difference between useful humor (including satire) and vulgarity/foul language.
Best wishes --

"I'm sure the GOP placed that statement (mentioning lesbian Cheney) within the DNC talking points...this is all certainly a Bush mind trick."Yeah...her husband, thinking he was charming a jury, and sKerry, thinking "I'm the champion debater who can find a way to turn any topic to my advantage" go out of their way to bring up the Vice Prez's daughter's sexuality, but this dolt blames the Republicans for being off-topic with it.
Typical liberal.
