Kerry is also popular among prisoners, ex-felons, and Muslim terrorists and traitors--many within America.

Kerry/Edwards can be reduced to 3 lines: Bush is bad, Kerry was in Vietnam, and Mary Cheney is a lesbian.

The only thing sKerry need to do is sign Form.180!!!

I never seem to get their names straight.

I doubt that the recovery in the President's poll numbers has much to do with Senator Kerry's remark about the Cheney daughter being a lesbian. I doubt many people really cared that much about it one way or another.

A lot of people cared. I think it influenced the polls but it may be temporary.

"Sad thing is it wasn't a gaffe, it was a deliberate political move that backfired..."

I didn't see the debate, but in watching a replay of skerries statement it seemed to me that he paused briefly before saying the "L" word as if he wasn't sure he should say it. But then, he may have thought he needed a pause for dramatic effect. Any way it was very krude of kerrie.

I think the lesbian comment is only part of the story. I think most women think he is despicable for not saying one nice thing about his wife other than mentioning her money. That is what I think really irritates the women...of which I am one.

Well, he won't say but he does say that he allready pays 90% of the taxes for the city of Ann Arbor. (he makes over $200,000 a year)

I think it looks good.

No, solzhenitsyn.

For Americans, personal character matters a lot. More than ideology. That is why we have these debates because we want insight into the character of the candidate. In going after Cheney's daughter Kerry showed a despicable character. That will cost him this election.

Takes a British newspaper to tell the real truth about the polls.

You are so right. It is what they report is plain as day, but the U.S. MSM will not eschew obfuscation.

Where did you hear remarks by Mrs. Edwards today? I hadn't seen anything on Fox news. What else did she say? Did she apologize for what she said about the Cheneys?

I have never seen Bush be anything but respectful of women and he obviously adores Laura, respects and loves his mom, and loves his daughters unconditionally. Oh, and by trying to promote adoption as an alternative to abortion, he is trying to save a lot of little baby girls that otherwise wouldn't be alive. That goes especially for viable baby girls that have had their brains sucked out in process of being born.

That is the description of a man who cares about women.

Exactly, both he and Edwards made a point of bringing this up in their last debates.

They wanted the world to know Mary Cheney was a lesbo in the hopes it would hurt the Bush team.

I think this showed a lot of people what Kerry is really about.
And Edward's wife comment was really the icing on the cake. These people are disgraceful.

The sun rises every day after the paper carrier leaves the newspaper on my doorstep. The paper carrier must cause the sun to rise.

Brilliant. I have often wanted to same something comparable in reference to polls, but could never quite think of how to phrase it. Thanks for doing it for me.

BTW whenever this subject is brought up to one of the Kerry hacks, they say "well Kerry and Edwards didn't do anything that the Cheneys haven't done. They have discussed their daughter in townhall meetings." Doesn't that fall under the catagory of "I can criticize my husband all I want but you better not say anything negative." Isn't that kinda how we all feel about our families?
