Allah says they cannot drink so they do drugs. Not prohibited my Islam as far as I know. I doubt that hash/marijuana are either.
Certainly not prohibited to cultivate, process and sell drugs to the non-Muslim
I think they can distinguish good from evil; they just like evil and hate good.

Total agreement. As I mentioned up the thread, taking hard drugs or alcohol will NOT turn you or me into a murderer. I might do something stupid but certainly not evil.
Intoxication can indeed break down one's resistence to the evil that's already inside. But one decides to take the drug/alcohol. And obviously the terrorists in Beslan were commited to evil, drugs or no drugs.
Literally "Special Action Groups" they would follow the armies into conquered territory and were used for killing political opponents, communists, and Jews. They killed possibly 2 million of the 6 million Jews in the Holocaust by shooting in mass burial pits in Eastern Europe, and were frequently aided by locals. Even for ideological fanatics like these, the psychological toll was extreme of 24/7 killing. Himmler promoted the construction of death camps to humanely "spare" his men, and also increase effectiveness.
Looks like Baba Yar type stuff - is the Einsatzgruppen a particluar incident, or a general term?

When I read "Baba Yar" and a few other books at the same time such as "Anus Mundi" and "Treblinka", my very first thought was - it'll happen again. People aren't any better now, in fact, things have gone downhill in many ways.
I believe the literal meaning is special group, but I don't speak German so I might be wrong on that. The Einsatzgruppen were part of the SS that were responsible for exterminating people, mostly in the areas that were newly conquered. As the death camps became established and the tide of battle turned they were phazed out.
