QUOTE OF THE DAY: "THE PRESIDENT: Good morning. Over the past four years, I have brought a straightforward approach to the presidency. I tell you what I'm going to do, and I keep my word. When I came into office four years ago, the economy was sliding into recession. Then terrorist attacks cost our nation nearly a million jobs in three months. To help families and to get this economy growing again, I pledged to reduce taxes, and I kept my word.
Now the results are clear. Over the last three years, America's economy has grown at the fastest rate of any major industrialized nation. The home ownership rate is at an all-time high, and we have added more than 1.9 million new jobs in the past 13 months."

They are so comfortable with their role in this world, with each other, with themselves.
I admire them, really. They exude confidence and compassion at once.

In that last one, I think he's checking out Laura's exit strategy!

I like Laura's sensible shoes. They look comfy and complement her outfit nicely.

A supporter of President Bush waves a pair of flip flops, as the President speaks about Flip Flopper John Kerry

I love them. As I said earlier, Bush is more maculine and a man's man. He is a typical guy like all of us and not a Brahmin Patrician like Poodle. He exudes confidence and his body English is just right. Bush connects with the people one on one and projects charisma that Gigolo sorely lacks.

Oh, goodie! A Saturday Dose. And much appreciated, Mike.
The GOP finally opened an office in my area today (Western N. Y.). Health prevented me from being there but my son went in my place. There were a goodly number of people there, and my son was glad to see so many YOUNG people including college students. He signed up as a volunteer.
