For your listening pleasure.
The silence is deafening!
Note to Radio Islam..if you don't spend at least 50% of your time denouncing radical Islam, you're wasting your time. You guys have a lot of ground to make up after 3 years of virtual silence.
Oh, great. Radio Jihad.
"A big Welcome to all you new towel heads and camel jockeys where ever you are to radio islam, Where if you're not listening to us , it's probably because you've lost your head. haha. just a little infidel humor. Happy ramadan.Allah akbar and kill the jew! "
Really? How many radio stations are there in this country? How many mainstream TV stations are there in this country? How many cable stations are there in this country?.........
I don't have my own personal copy of a koran, but all I've ever read from excerpts, the Muslims are directed by allah to reform me or kill me.
What a joke...a radio show to tell me how good and peaceful muslims are and only want the best for all humankind...as long as you are a muslim.
FMCDH(BITS)
It's a low wattage station.
There was an Islamic radio show in DC Metro several years back. I never heard it (small station) but apparantly it was one long anti-Semetic invective. There were quite a few stories about in the local papers and it was finally pulled.
Also in DC there was a Muslim TV hour on one of the public stations, and I watched in fascination as a semi-literate convert to Islam spent about 30 minutes dissing the Christian trinity.
The weekly Pakistani show looks interesting but they do the news portions in Urdu, unfortunately.
Air Arabia ? Who is the host Al Fra Ali Nken Bali Bin Hama Lama Bama Ding Dong ?
At least it's a start and I wish them the best. (Although I haven't listened yet to the referenced talk show.) There's a radio station in Ft Lauderdale that has an hour of Muslim programming Sunday evenings (if that's still the schedule). I listened to it several times this past summer, and a nicer and more gentle group of people you couldn't find. They mosly discussed family issues, such as honoring fathers on Father's Day, and how to properly deal with and discipline their kids, who are exposed to immoral influences in the public schools. They pointed out many times that they believed the jihadists were criminals. They mentioned their dismay that Muslims entering this country were complaining about the USA, even those people who could not obtain citizenship in the countries where they were born. They made it clear that they love America and are grateful to be here. Good Muslims exist, and they are taking a personal risk by saying these things. They should be encouraged. MSM has done the USA a great disservice by giving air time, perhhaps just to introduce controversy, only to the despicable radicals such as CAIR.
Too funny! LOL...lamma Bama...
A very well written opinion. However, I have a hard time believing that since 9-11 no Muslims speaking about their outrage and disgust and denounciation of terrorism could not get on Oreilly or any of the talk shows.
The silence is deafening. When they decide to announce they are not voting for Bush, I heard them loud and clear on all the cable stations.
Maybe the Muslims should take a cue from Sprint.
"Can you hear me now? Can you hear me now?"
I just thought hama lama bama ding dong was a funny line. :-)
A very good observation...why haven't Oreilly and the talk shows found any anti-terrorist Muslims? hmmmm.
<< why haven't Oreilly and the talk shows found any anti-terrorist Muslims? >>
Lazy journalism, or else they just aim at generating controversy. This is not a time to encourage bigotry. Hate does not overcome hate.
I hear you.
