Re: Post #40. Current second-in-command Reid has the safe money bet, although word on the street is that Dodd covets the position, and Hilalry is a perennial contender. Why, I know not...

If Thune wins worth the cost, as one hard corps realist, except for your Bob Smith call, to another.

Lets pray that he does not get reelected, this effects (sp ?) the whole country. He is like the rest of his low character and moral party. Since you asked...
"To effect" means "to cause". For example: "The candidate's stirring speech effected a change in his favor in the opinion polls."
"To affect" means "to influence". For example: "The candidate's stirring speech affected the opinion polls."
So, in the case of your post, the correct spelling would be "affects".

Maybe a minority and someone who is a more moderate democrat, not a midget slimeball who is always "saddened", and who can help them work closer with President Bush and the Repubican majority.
Oops, what was I thinking? Like that'll ever happen.

(Kerry says "Vote for me I have a plan" - I'm voting for Bush, 'cause he's da MAN!)
This is the first time Daschle and W have been on the ballot together....for Bush to win 60-40 and Daschle to win 51-49...that means ELEVEN percent have to vote for Bush and turn around and vote for Daschle. Its inconceivable to me that people could vote for BOTH of them like that, but it is going to happen to some extent.

If Dashole loses, does that mean that all those clients will have to give back the cash they paid his wife for "special Congressional consideration?" Does this assessment iclude the thousands of dead Indian who will be voting for Tommie the Commie?

Dashole might get sent home for good. ...Washington, D.C.? ...Didn't he and his spouse declare (for real estate/tax loopholes reasons) Wash. D.C. their legal residence.

The fraudulent reservation vote is a real possibility, as you said. And South Dakota does NOT require voters to show ID or voter registration cards at the polls.

Don't count your chickens. Democrats in SD have a nasty habit of "finding" a lot of votes from Native Americans one half hour before the polls close.

I'm not sure the 'Rat poll workers in SD require that people be out of diapers as long as they intend to vote for Dashole and sKerry.
