If they did something about it they would be accused of trying to disenfranchise the poor sots that don't have jobs, or ID's or a home to put down for an address, or a utility bill etc... All those millions of unfortunate democrats would be left out of the process.

You know, I don't know ANYONE that doesn't have a job, that includes all my steps, extended family, even my mentally challenged sister in law. SHE has a job, well a new job every few months, BUT SHE HAS A JOB! Don't get me started... Arg, I can't wait till Nov. 3rd, I'm stressed out!

That is truly remarkable. From your article:

Sen. Gwen Moore (D-Milwaukee) has pushed for a veto of the bill, saying it would disenfranchise poor people, youths and those who don't drive.

"I'm really happy that (Doyle) has the foresight to realize that this is truly a partisan ploy," Moore said Monday.

She said state Republicans have been trying to require voters to show identification since the 2000 presidential election.

"This would, of course, not only secure the 10 electoral votes for George W. Bush, but it would help to continue to secure the Republican encroachment into Milwaukee County," said Moore.

So having an ID is a Republican partisan ploy? How is that possible? Do only Republicans carry ID? And just how would showing ID secure a win for Bush and secure all Republican progress?

The obvious and only answer to that question is that if cheating is eliminated, the Democrats lose. Gov. Doyle says having to show ID would hurt the voting rights of the elderly and the poor, but they issue state photo IDs even if you don't drive. If someone can't drive down to get an ID, they could find a way to help the small number of folks who are in that predicament.

This is bogus. This is B.S. This is Democrats cheating and lying and destroying this election!
