Now many, many years ago, when I was twenty-three,
I was married to a widow who was pretty as could be.
This widow had a grown-up daughter who had hair of red.
My father fell in love with her, and soon they, too, were wed.

This made my dad my son-in-law and changed my very life,
My daughter was my mother, cause she was my father's wife.
To complicate the matter, even though it brought me joy,
I soon became the father of a bouncing baby boy.

My little baby then became a brother-in-law to Dad,
And so became my uncle, though it made me very sad.
For if he was my uncle, then that also made him brother
Of the widow's grown-up daughter, who, of course, was my stepmother.

Father's wife then had a son who kept him on the run,
And he became my grandchild, for he was my daughter's son.
My wife is now my mother's mother, and it makes me blue,
Because, although she is my wife, she's my grandmother, too.

Now if my wife is my grandmother, then I'm her grandchild,
And everytime I think of it, it nearly drives me wild,
For now I have become the strangest case you ever saw
As husband of my grandmother, I am my own grandpa!

Why is perpetuating the myth that the woman's child is Boseman's? It is not.
It is her niece and nothing more.

I hate to even ask this, but which one of "them" had the baby?

I do not believe that it should be legal for homosexuals to use any means but natural to have children. In vitro, surrogates, and all other "artificial" manner of becoming pregnant should be beyond their use. It's not that I hate gays, I don't, but I do fear for the kids that are the result of such contrivances. These are people that are using the children from such procedures to validate their "Lifestyle". It's not what children are for. If gay women want children, they should adopt those who would be aborted.

Well, I have one question: Why should the child not be baptised? It isn't as if the child had any choice in the manner of its birth.

Second, spring the radical LGBT (lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, trans-gendered) legislative agenda on the voters immediately after assuming office.

And you folks in North Carolina can be assured that it will include more than just "Gay" specific issues. These people don't like guns and are gonna make sure they get yours and you don't. That's what they have done to California.

You've been warned.

You'd do better to "fear for the kids" who are being created the natural way by the dysfunctional lowlifes who populate our nations slums, public housing projects, and low-end trailer parks. There are a lot more of them, they are no more likely to have a clue who their biological father is, they are a much bigger financial burden on society, and most of them are in a lot more danger than the children of gays and singles who are using advanced reproductive technologies (who are a small subset of gays and singles who are having babies on purpose). Most gays and singles don't need to use any high-falutin' technologies to reproduce. They're no more likely to have fertility problems than anyone else, and for most the in-home "turkey baster" method does the trick.

Can you please tell me how two homosexuals can procreate? The "turkey baster" method that you mention by necessity must involve some third party in the "marital relationship", must it not?

Cordially,

It involves a third party, but rarely needs to involve high tech medicine (or any medicine, for that matter). And personally, I'd a whole lot rather see a financially stable gay couple or single person going the turkey baster route, than a drug-and-welfare-addict going the "not sure which one of all those guys I did it with is the father" route. The latter is a whole lot more common than the former.

I nominate your post #4 as Post Of The Day. That's the funniest, cleverest rhyme I've read in a while.
