I honestly don't know what everyone is so worried about, if I were a Kerry supporter I would be way more concerned about all these poll numbers because they consistently show their candidate behind in the polls Even if it is in the margin of error in most of them.

On another thread, someone mentioned Pubbie internals showing W up 8 in Ohio. Can anyone confirm this? I would certainly feel a LOT better now if this is true.

Great poll news. After a 3-day weekend, one would expect closer state races. A few trolls are upset, but no one else.

No way Kerry wins Pennsylvania this year. The state is very republican except for Philly and the blacks are not really motivated this time as the race card has not been successful.

I do too. I hate to be negative but if you add in the voter fraud that can be expected it makes me worry.

I am astonished that the Pennsylvania polls are this close.

I am going to volunteer in PA this weekend for "Walk the Bush" , where we will go door to door and talk to voters.Going down with a bunch of volunteers from NYC. Anyone else want to come ? Beats fretting over the polls.

Contact www.nycforbush.com if you are interested.

I think the "conventional wisdom" is that tonight's debate will favor sKerry and that might be the reason for his increase in poll numbers lately.

But if (when!) Bush puts in a good showing, that can all change.

Strategic Vision has Bush up 8 in Ohio. The only red states to be concerned about are Nevada and New Hampshire. Kerry has to be concerned about Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, Minnesota, New Mexico and Pennsylvania. I like our chances.

Grab your coat and get your hat
Leave your worries on the doorstep
Life can be so sweet
On the sunny side of the street

Can't you hear the pitter-pat
And that happy tune is your step
Life can be complete
On the sunny side of the street

I used to walk in the shade with my blues on parade
But I'm not afraid...this rover? s crossed over

If I never had a cent
I'd be rich as rockefeller
Gold dust at my feet
On the sunny side of the street

I used to walk in the shade with them blues on parade
Now I'm not afraid... this rover has crossed over

Now if I never made one cent
I'll still be rich as rockefeller
There will be goldust at my feet
On the sunny
On the sunny, sunny side of the street

A friend that works for the GOP in Louisiana told me that he heard the same thing. Mason Dixon has him at 8% up also.

The only must win for Bush is Florida. If he takes FL, we're in really good shape with lots of options to win.

Bush is already down big in all the issues that will be debated tonight. He can only gain. A draw tonight or even a small Kerry win is actually a win for Bush. He really has nothing to lose on domestic issues and Kerry will be on the ropes trying to explain his stances on abortion, guns, gays, and taxes.

I predict a Bush win in two of those "blue" states listed above (Iowa, New Mexico) with Kerry picking off New Hampshire. Overall, a net positive for Bush. I also predict that Bush will pick off Wisconsin with no other red states turning blue. JMO.

He has a booming Florida economy going for him. He has a hurricane devastated panhandle going against him. As long as they get to the polls in Pensacola, he should win Florida by a surprising margin.

Me too! I'm very grumpy. I've put my husband on notice to not take anything I say personal. Now, when I scream about every single news segment he just laughs at me.
