Much like the Republicans are doing now.
I am not defending the streaking, but it has absolutely nothing to do with this election. If you remember the early 70's, streaking was all the rage - it was dumb, but a lot less damaging than smoking pot, doing drugs, or calling our brave soldiers war criminals and baby killers...
Yeah, for deviates, fruits, the kinky, and others with a slow clock. Then you have the sheeple, with the heard mentality. Like those little rodents, lemmings, all over the cliff.
Not someone I'd want in charge.
Ya but Joe, you have to remember he is running for Congress, so he's not going to be in charge of anything.
I would have given a dollar to see the looks on the turnstile crasher faces.
I calculated that 65% of his new district is Republican. However, today the liberal Dallas Mourning News says that Pete is polling 50% to Frost's 45% with a 3.5% margin of error.
Don't be duped.
Frost is trailing Sessions.
A over the past month and a half....Frost has spent a boatload of his funds for polling.
But he has not released what the polling indicates. A sure sign that it did not come out well for Frost.
Most people laughed at the weak attempt by Frost.
They all realize it was a college prank....mainly because they all did it themselves.
Also....there were no children present as Frost claims.
ALSO- IF FROST IS WORRIED ABOUT CHILDREN...HE SHOULD GIVE BACK ALL THAT MONEY HE TOOK IN DONATIONS FROM THAT CHILD MOLESTER!
Frost homesteaded TWO properties. Violation of the law.
And then he used connections to cover it up.
You trying to tell us something?
Do you know what that surprise is?
Are you one of those business men who has both Frost and Sessions signs on the fence off along Preston and Hilcrest?
lol
Nah - just seems that way. Kids still do stupid wild & crazy things.
We just grew up - matured a little, don't cha know.
Ahhh, Lawrence Sanders fan!!
I don't know if you were in college in the 70s, but streaking was definitely not the equivalent of having a baby out of wedlock or grind "dancing".
As I said, there was ZERO sexual component in it (and my mom's a professional dancer, so let's just say I know a sexual component when I see one.) It was just a lighthearted prank by young kids who weren't thinking about the opposite sex, just about being silly. For one thing, IIRC, there wasn't much if any co-ed streaking - you had very few girls who streaked anyhow, but if they did they traveled in a group. It was mostly the guys, and they were about as un-sexual as you could be - lots of shouting and barking, you know, male bonding stuff.
The so-called Sexual Revolution was still occurring in dark corners around that time.
If Sessions cant win in a 65% GOP district, he doesn't belong in congress, streaker or not.
Martin Frost is a moron.
Wu (D-WA) admitted to trying to rape his girlfriend, and Frost pins a 30 year-old streaking stunt with hundreds of others as poor behavior?
Buh-bye, punk.
The only other thing that would really put him over the top is if he came out and said he was a "Junk Food Junkie" and had a four-twinkie a day habit.
Too funny.
Yeah, right, Joe.
It was so mainstream SOMEONE ACTUALLY STREAKED LIVE AND ON STAGE AT THE ACADEMY AWARDS!
Please.
Exactly.
Some time in the 70's I was standing on the front steps of a church posing in my sister's wedding party pictures. It was a bright June day. Out of the building across the street erupts 2 young men with t-shirts over their faces, Converses on their feet, and nothing else. They run around in the road for 30 seconds, screaming and barking and then ran back where they came from. This in front of the matronly guard which oversees all weddings.
I'm sure they won a case of beer and are both now in some high office, or prison.
Base vote is 60%. He should easily beat that worm Frost if there is not massive fraud in the district. Anyone who knows Southwest in the 70s thinks that streaking was by far the least offensive thing going on there!
