Kristol acts like a spoiled, pouting child at times.

I think not. One need only read "Project for a New American Century". Find it on the White House web site. Note some of the co-authors. Put your tin foil hat back in storage.

You are a conservative and should be proud of it. Resist any attempt to redefine conservatism to the taste of its isolationist enemies, its internationalist enemies, its amoral enemies, its immoral enemies, its pacifist enemies, its obscurantist enemies, its boozy poetry reading enemies (Rockford Institute, et al.) or its socially eccentric enemies (the pince nez and walking stick set who know everything about John Randolph of Roanoke and nothing about reality) whom the Regan administration enraged by regarding the eccentrics as unfit to be put on public display.

Mujahadeen, even Taliban, were better than our soviet enemies and their tubby little stooge Najibullah who got what he deserved when the mujahadeen with our subsidy strung the little bastard up in the public square in Kabul until his corpse exploded in the sun. If you need explanation as to the superiority of the Mujahadeen over the soviets, why DO you think yourself conservative?

We did not take advantage of the moment of Taliban to send them Hillary, Boxer, and the rest of our feminazi sent to Afghanistan on a fact-finding tour to be kidnapped and disposed of by Taliban in colorful ways like their disposuition of Najibullah. Too late now. So sad.

Karzai is superior to Taliban which cooperated in 9/11. Our Pentagon, World Trade Center and four airliners destroyed by Islamofascisti with their taste for American blood whetted by the internationalist cowardice (how does it differ in results from isolationist cowardice? Not at all) of Clan Clinton who cared far more for service in the oval office than for human freedom. Paleos would have busied themselves getting sloshed on wine while whimpering the poetry of the lost generation after WWI who were just bereft over the loss of social opportunities represented by the bodies on Flanders Fields.

If something better than Karzai (from the point of view of American interests) comes along, we can help. Hopefully we will.

The thing is, if we don't win the war on terror, do the social issues mean a damn thing?

There are certain issues, 2nd Amendment rights especially that are vastly more important than the WOT.

I downloaded the Fleck clip. Kinda catchy! Relaxing, too.

Here's a belated ping to the article I mentioned :)

Actually Moore has no strong arguments.

All he has is the same leftwing propaganda that you two share, troll.

Yes, Russia supported the Northern Alliance. IIRC, Iran primarily supported a splinter group of anti-Taliban Shiites.

This was, of course, long after America had left involvment in Afghani politics.

Clinton did indeed send humanitarian aid, but this was neither aid to either the Taliban or the Northern Alliance, but instead aid directly to humanitarian groups operating within the nation.

So, to summarize - the thesis that the US aided the Taliban or AQ is still within the domain of tinfoil hattery.

Qsama was helping the war against Russia in Afghanistan and so were we..We therefore did have the same goals..and some relationship..He had the Saudis funds. We were working closely with the ISI in Pakistan. It was the cold war..

Save for the "and some relationship" part all true. And all besides the point.

Moore took historical fact coupled with fiction and innuendo, and blurred it all together to support an overall message that was completely bogus. He is just as foggy-brained as you, who probably voted for Clinton twice.

I stated fact to try to dispel you of your uninformed stupor, and you ranted and raved like a lunatic, and have falsely accused me of being a troll and a liberal, when you are clearly just as disingenuous as a troll and just as stupid as a liberal.

I expect you will have a new alias soon enough. Take a deep breath before attacking Freepers next time.

LOL.

The Mooreite troll now is claiming that conservatives vote for Clinton. In your dreams perhaps.

So, do you have a framed picture of your hero Moore? Or is Osama more your kind of "leader"? Your hatred for America might be a bit too deep for just the former as much as that says.

Troll, you and your leftist drivel are not welcome in the confines of conservative FR. We FReepers are interested in truth - not your, and Moore's, lies.

Oh, and troll, perhaps before you attack your nation next time, and I'm sure there will be a next time, you should...take a deep breath.

Of course not, he's not interested in truth, just here to vent the deep frustration of his tortured, cantankerous soul. It must be difficult when you go through life unable to study basic history but intent on making unfounded assertions about it nonetheless.

I was a FReeper long before you showed up and I'll be here when you're long gone.

You're dumber than Edwards with the integrity of Kerry; Democrat in your nature as demonstrated by your rude and bitchy demeanor, as well as your consistent denial of historical truth.

What's sad is that all anyone has to do is go back and read this thread to see what a complete Hillary-like scum you are, but you don't read, do you?
