Thanks for your calculations.
WHY can demoncrats use churches for POLITICAL purposes but when REPUBLICAN steps into one, the feds want to REVOKE their tax exempt status?
Thanks for your calculations!
I didn't know Kerry was religious; I'd be curious as to how many times he went to Mass before the election year. So I find it a bit odd that he seems to be "preaching" every Sunday in a black church. Take him back to 30 years ago and ask him whether he thought it was right then, or now, to have borne false witness against his neighbor in the form of his fellow soldiers (the Genghis Khan lies about Vietnam before Congress). Or, perhaps as I suspect, he doesn't have a clue that its one of the Ten Commandments.
Is a victory won based on pure lies worthy of our respect? How do other Americans feel about being led by a man who has resorted to the most base, foul, and fascist-style of manipulation to gain power? These are the tactics demagogs use to gain power, traditionally.
I agree. Churhes are not the place to make political speeches.
Dems get away with it, and a number of other things, because REPULICANS ALLOW THEM TO DO SO.
REPUBLICANS NEVER SAY A WORD AGAINST DEMS, when they are in the WRONG.
How many Florida blacks are felons in prison? I'm sure these are part of the "disenfranchised" number Kerry uses.
Kerry? In a Church??? Doesn' t he know about the Separation?!? </ sarc off>
Kerry is a lying scumbag.
I heard the exchange when he talked from the pulpit in that church and it was met with sparse applause... The Dems are getting it for a sound bite but Kerry is no Clinton...
same old same old
stupid is as stupid does.
I totally agree with you. Law suits need to start flying at these churches. I am sick and tired of Catholic churches being railroaded for every little thing, but Clinton and Gore can enter a black church and campaign for Gray Davis. Either the law needs to change so that it is legal to start doing this (which is actually the way I think it should be), or the Republicans need to start sueing these black churches. Why don't they ever address this??

Thank you. This needs repeating. It's just part of the give & take in this "Two-Party Cartel" orchestrated by the elites to prevent a true conservative agenda.
"WHY can demoncrats use churches for POLITICAL purposes but when REPUBLICAN steps into one, the feds want to REVOKE their tax exempt status?"
Because this election is also a spiritual war. The forces of good and evil are quite evident this year. Remember to pray for our President.

According to the 2000 Census, the number of blacks age 18 and over in Florida numbered 1,560,928. Thus, for Kerry's claim to be factual if blacks had 100% turn out, 2 out of 3 would have had to have been disenfranchised. Or, if 2 out 3 three blacks turned out to vote, 100% would have had to have been disenfranchised.
This is a ludicrous lie, but the left and their allies in the MSM do not fact check. If a claim bolster's their case, it's accepted at face value because emotionally, they feel it's right.
Our country has enough polarization without this type of race baiting from a major party presidential nominee. Anyone who fails to condemn this speech is without shame. But then, we're talking about Democrats so I'm being redundant.
