I WANT TO HUG MY PRESIDENT.
(Hope there's no law against that.)
He was fantastic tonight. He was loveable, too. Kerry is a DORK! And Kerry is a truly ugly man.
I'm seeing doubles
;-)
whoa...bad cut and paste...please disregard..
NBC truth squad? Wha is that? Something like the NOW Mommy squad?
Yes, he was VERY good tonight! I'm SO proud of him tonight!!
Where was everyone tonight?
Bush's honesty vs. Kerry's obvious dishonesty was very apparent tonight.
kerry is an optimist like TeRayZA is a ballerina
I HAVE A PLAN!
Right, a plan to balance the budget in four years by massive increases in government spending.
CONGRATULATIONS, PRESIDENT BUSH !!!
You did what I asked you: YOU KICKED HIS ASSSSSSS....
Fantastic command of the facts and the decisions. Kerry mastered the art of evading the actual question to go off on his "kitchen sink" talking points -- throw in every Michael Moore far left talking point in each 2 minute block, regardless of what the question actually was.
I feel energized. The President was on fire -- combative, assertive, in command.
I cannot believe I just watched Bill Kristol and Mort Kondracke on FOX News just say they felt Kerry won the debate. Kristol looks like he is on some serious drugs.
DID THESE CLOWNS WATCH THE SAME DEBATE I JUST DID ???
That's what I'm wondering too! I held off on reading or posting until afterward tonite, because I would end up reading here too much and not paying full attention to the debate.
Bush was awesome. Love the Kerry talk on taxes! Digging himself a hole there. I was cheering for Bush when he stood up and said hey, what about our allies like Blair, Kwaseneski, wow. He was in his element tonite!
I honestly think Kerry turned a lot of people off tonite. I actually thought Bush was great on the environment question. Kerry's comeback was so weak there.
This an interesting experience, posting after participating in the drinking game tonite! I've had to go back and correct a bunch of typos. I mean, me and my mom ran out of wine just drinking on Kerry's "plan"! Jeez. :-)
Coverage: They think it was awesome to not have the silly rules to worry about, and they mostly agree Bush was great. Anybody notice Joe Scarborough has been noticeably absent from the 2nd debate coverage on MSNBC? Interesting. I still like him a lot, he's so funny, I did agree with him somewhat Bush didn't do that well in the first debate. I think he'd be over the moon, though, about how Bush did tonite. It was amazing.
Thanks!
I'm staying up to grab the first government or Campaign copy of the Debate (government or Campaign copy to allow for more quotations) for rough notes and will start writing first thing in the morning.
We should not allow the Democrat media to determine what was important about the Debate to most readers and listeners. That would be like allowing Osama Bin Laden to determine how we fight the War against terrorists.
And here's a good post on commentary about the Debate.

Remember, friends, that we need to write early, often, and even graciously accept any and all good ideas from our friends here who ask that their ideas be put to use (not something we're accustomed to doing). This isn't the usual competition between writers for column spaces. It's a cultural propaganda conflict, and the outcome will determine between two very different choices for our kids' future.
That is too much.
I slow in my later years..
Thanks, both, but I got off at 5 and had nearly an hour drive home. Just time to come in and sit down basically, not set up.
My 17yo and I did a "drinking game" -- with seltzer water. "Plan" alone got us through about two glasses. If it'd been vodka, we'd be dead.

I could never drink and post....too dangerous...
