Bernardin also made arrangements for a gay choir to sing at his funeral Mass, which they did, behind a large banner identifying themselves as gay. I believe they were the Windy City Gay Mens Choir (or Chorus).
The Beginning of The End of The Bernardin Legacy
Who did he live with? Who were his friends? (According to the 11/97 Washington Blade, a homosexual newspaper, the Cardinal himself had arranged for the Windy City Gay Chorus to sing at his wake at Holy Name Cathedral. It did so behind a sign prominently displaying its name.) What kinds of men did he associate with and help elevate to bishop? Who praised him? Who followed him and what was the result? RCF has spent the last four years looking for those answers.

So what is the real story about Cardinal Ratzinger's statement? Can Catholics Vote Pro-Abortion?
As I said yesterday, I would love to see JPII (or the next Pope) fire some of our bishops. Imagine if we awoke tomorrow to discover that Egan, McCarrick, and Mahony had been "retired" by the Pope and replaced by Chaput, Yanta, and Fabian. The USCCB would clean up its act so fast it would create a tornado. Well, one can hope!
This stat is in George Gilder's "Wealth and Poverty" in the 1980s. For my book, "The Entreprenuerial Adventure: A History of Business in the U.S." (Harcourt, 2000: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0155084550/qid=1097498434/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_2/102-6679035-8484967?v=glance&s=books) I looked at the Forbes 400 richest in 1990 and then again in either 1995 or 1998 (I forget) and looked at the number whose bios said they had not been to college or high school.
I think you'll find that most who inherit wealth DO go to college---rather than to work.
