IDF Radio: Egypt hopeless, both because of beuracratic manuvers not allowing Israelis to get to injured unhindered, but also it has no large emergency forces in the area. Major city (Sharm-A-Shak) too far from that hit hotel.

IDF Radio report that as well. IDF looking into that whether it is new incident or just echoes of explosion reaching that part of the desert.

Defense Minister Activates Search & Rescue Team

(IsraelNN.com) Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz has activated the Homefront Commands search & rescue team and they are instructed to head to the Eilat Taba border crossing.
CNN is now reporting it, but they dont have the details Yoni has. They reported it as breaking but offered no real details as of yet.
