It is obvious that people who are already talking about an exit strategy are more concerned with getting out than crushing the enemy and winning. This former lady General (I have to imagine she was there because she was a chick and Clinton was president) is embarassed by President Bush. Good to see military that stab our own military in the back.
I heard she got her first star under GHWB.
I can read the headlines now. Kerry wins General Split Tails support.
The word 'either' means that she:
a) Has no idea how to get out of Iraq herself.
b) She knows that Kerry and the Klintonistas have no exit strategy either.
c) She has an inflated opinion of herself.
d) All of the above.
Does she smoke (or) cigars.
Just tell her to put some ice on it.
It seems to me that Kerry gets lots of support from ex-Army bureoucrats who don't like transformation and still favor the cash-cow of a massive WWII style Army. These "George McClellans" spend far too much time building show-case armies and almost no time thinking about winning battles. Of course Kerry will "get us out". He got himself out of Vietnam in only 4 months... did you know Kerry was in Vietnam?
I read that Claudia used to date a relative of Terry McAuliffes. No partisan base there.
Being the highly elevated token that she became under Billy-Jeff's administration- too bad she had to screw it up by dragging herself and another GO through a sexual harassment fiasco- which led to them both resigning.
I imagine Claudia's military analysis is about as useful as fly turds in the SOS. Still- imagine her as Kerry's SecDef....:-(

The only thing Claudia Kennedy had any idea how to get out of was her panties. She got fired from the Army for sexual harassment.
She served as deputy chief of staff for intelligence under President Clinton

Lieutenant General Claudia Kennedy, the highest ranking female general in the Army and the head of Army intelligence, has complained that another general, identified today as Major General Larry G. Smith, harassed her in her office in 1996, allegedly by "inappropriately touching." Kennedy is said to have reported the alleged harrasment at the time (1996) to Smith's chain of command, but when she learned last fall that Smith was to be assigned as the new inspector general, an office in which he might have to investigate possible sexual harrassment cases, she filed a formal complaint. She did not go public with the accusation, but it was leaked and reported by the Washington Times last week. Army investigators are looking into the matter.
She got her stars while "under" someone alright!

I know that there was a lot of resentment at Rummy when they cleared the dead wood out of General's Row at Ft McNair a few years back.

Anyone with half a brain knows appointing this woman a General in the first place was a bone thrown to Patty Schroeder, and to the RAT proponents of the "feel-good" politics of Affirmative Action.
