I am so sick of Republicans refusing to put the blame for the division in this country right square where it belongs, right in the DemocRATS laps. I am sick of GWB taking the blame and no one calling it like it is. <

Interesting statement beckysue.

The Republicans control everything in DC and have for years. Yet we now have 3 *million* a year pouring into our country illegally. This titanic invasion is casing epic social and economic chaos, drugs being brought in by the *tons* through our bleeding borders, along with God knows what else.

So, what were you saying?

[ Make it so that every time Kerry starts his diatribe, the people think "There he goes again". ]

Bush is no Ronaldus Maximus.. but if he uses the gippers "secret weapon" it might help.. The gipper talked very slow and haltling deliberate.. drives the liberals nutz.. forces them to think.. he almost never broached great swelling concepts live, in person.. He kept it simple stupid(as they say K.I.S.S.).. Thats why many democrats "got him".. not because they are stupid because they really are merely SLOW... If the opponent poses several questions pick the weakest one and slowly, ever so slowly HAMMAR IT... With each blow of the hammar it bounces around in the opponents and the audiences head like a marble... pretty soon you're out of time and the audience forgives you for not answering the other questions... but they DO have marble marks in their heads from THE question.. they have forgotton the other questions.. also you simply must have a zinger a sound bite.. just one not two or three just one.. after all liberals and undecideds are slow your not there to convince the choir.. What Ronny Reagan knew was that democrats and undecideds are both slow... not stupid.. He IMPLYED they were liars by "There you go again" he did'nt call them that overtly.. Like a daddy to his children, 'there you go again you rascal you"..

What Bush needs is another "there you go again" implying lies without saying it. LIKE: "You're a tricky little rascal are'nt you"... that impling a lie from a weasle... "Nice trick but I'm not buying it".. or "Trick or treat is later this month, John".. or "I have no cards up my sleeve John, I released my all my miltary records and medical records too. You can't trick the american people".. or "Which shell is the pea under is a tricky little game that bores me you can't be everything to everybody. I'm not an appeaser, I'm not a coward, I'm not fooled by United Nations incompetance" (impling all those things to John Kerry but not saying it)...

YES.. speak ever so slowly savor every word like honey and and patronize at every opportunity.. And if are accused of patronizeing, admit it. Yes John, "I'm the big dog and you're a poodle barking only intimidates cowards"..

He has to turn Kerry's negativity in a liability. Make it so that every time Kerry starts his diatribe, the people think "There he goes again".

I just got the answer listening to Richard Miniter on Rush. Each time Kerry throws one of his bombs GWB tells the story of his administrations accomplishments in the WOT. Not sure how he can work it into a town hall meeting venue but he's got to tell the whole story, start at point A all the way through to point B.

3,000 terrorists killed or captured in 201 countries around the world just for starters. Each time Kerry blows, hit him with a little good news story from here at home to across the world in the WOT. Pound it again and again, each time a different scenario and always praising the brave men and women who are doing the "hard work" (Ha!), praising our allies.

Shadow War, Richard Miniter's new book sounds like a excellent documentation of the real accomplishments from the Bush Administration in the WOT. I'm so grateful somebody finally took the time to gather all the information and write it down!

When Bush fights back, he actually becomes MORE likable.

Bush ought to bash Kerry's head against a podium until the audience tires of the wet, squishy sound.

True bush has the hard task, but as I said regardless of the strategy against Kerry, Bush is really fighting himself. As the polls show, people aren't interested in voting for Kerry, they are interested in voting against Bush. He has to win them with his appearance and words. His words do not have to be grand just clear.
