Once again it appears that someone has slipped sand into the authors vasaline.
The American public got desensitized to corruption, perjury, intimidation and abuses of power between 1992 and 2000, with the overt actions of a biased media with a political agenda. Now the same media is disturbed that the effect MIGHT work both ways, even though Cheney's connection with Halliburton is dated and remote, unlike Clinton's special attachment to Tyson Foods.

As soon as I saw the words "San Francisco", I stopped reading.
Had dinner with a liberal friend last week. We rarely discuss politics because it usually gets ugly, but she told me she's voting for Bush strictly because of the terrorism issue. She said the Beslan crisis solidified it for her: "I can't believe so many people out there don't understand that there are people who just want my kids dead! Bush is the only person who seems to want to do something about that."
I bet she's never voted Repub in her life. But it gives me hope there are other stupid libs out there who are finally seeing the light and hearing the utter cluelessness of the Two Johns campaign.
