Oh, I read and almost died laughing PJ's Parliment of Whores book. And I distinctly remember the whiskey and car keys analogy. I was just wondering aloud if in fact PJ coined the term.
In any case, I hardly think Brian Tracy should be discredited for using this colorful analogy without attribution. That's just throwing the baby out with the bathwater! (No, I don't know who first said that...)

Totally agree. Brian Tracy is used to writing to business people who want everything written very concisely. This article does an excellent job hammering home the facts that discredit Kerry.
Don't we all wonder sometimes how in the world Kerry got this far?
