Sounds like a 'Pubbie to me!
This guy writes a regular column in the Union-Tribune.
His statements have been so inaccurate that when I see he wrote, it I just pass on.
It is like some idiot watching Dan Rather. You KNOW he is going to spout a bunch of hateful misleading propoganda.
'This "security mom" stuff is nothing less than yet another scam of political marketeers to get votes.'
Yep, it is a great phrase for people to relate to, and also degrade the "soccermom" crap from the past. And it is working - there are millions of mothers out there who really don't care about anything else...
they should have several commercials by Karen Hughes and Laura Bush directed JUST to women and mothers about security and safety for their children.

On the alleged left, The New York Times concurs; columnist Maureen Dowd writes, "The so-called security moms, who have replaced soccer moms as a desirable demographic, are now flocking to Mr. Bush over Mr. Kerry, believing he can better protect their kids from scary terrorists."
This appears to be the latest Pravda. "Security moms" are a creation of the VRWC!
Yet The Word Spy which appears to be impartially tracing mondo lingo origins, notes:
security mom n. A woman with children who believes the most important issue of the day is national security, particularly the fight against terrorism.

Like I said before, if these women want to be safe, go out and learn some basic fighting skills.
