The nerve of some Republicans to actually be conservative! Tax cuts! Missile defense! Jettisoning the impossibly crippling Kyoto treaty! Buy a clue.
This story is rubbish. As soon as you read the line "Upset about tax cuts, missle defence, and Koyoto," you should just turn the page. Koyoto would be a disaster, tax cuts work, and missle defence is needed.
Just wait, the world economy is going to implode soon. The paper Koyoto is written on will be used for butt wipe, people will be glad they had a little extra money to hedge of inflation, and there will be missles flying all over the planet from ww3.
Yes, I remember lots of campaign appearances the vaunted Mr. Chafee made with the President. Lincoln Chafee has been a stalwart Republican in these troubling times. When America has needed a hero, she's turned to that epitome of virtue and resolute steadfastness--Lincoln Chafee.
Excuse me while I barf.
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my infrequent Rhode Island ping list.
Chafee and Jeffords moderate Republicans. This lady is cracking me up.

Excuse me Senator Judd, but a RINO like Lincoln Chafee is like having another Democrat in the Senate. These Eastern Republicans like him, Olympia Snowe and Christine Collins in Maine, and Arlen Specter in Pennsylvania are an impediment to the party. Someone forgot to send them the memo that Rockefeller Republicans don't have any influence in the party anymore. I don't care that they have an (R) by their name. They're more aligned with the other party, and they can't be trusted with their votes in the Senate. Northeastern and New England politicians from both sides of the political aisle give many of us reason to be worried.
