did you see this comment?
On another look at your first three pictures, it appears that Kerry DOES have a pen, but in his RIGHT HAND!! See top set #3 (rightmost). The left hand is the one doing the palming of the notes.
Is that your best shot friend? "you are a character"
You don't know me. Don't presume that you do.
As for my comments, which seem to have sparked a number of replies: My point was to emphasize the need to talk about substance in these debates, issues and stands, and not get lost in matters like these. Is a lack of character sufficient reason to vote against John Kerry? Yes, and I didn't mean to imply otherwise, but when you make this story "John Kerry won the debate because he had a magic note card" rather than "John Kerry doesn't have any idea of what he'll do in Iraq", you're burying the real story. It's been several weeks now, and I haven't seen much indication that the average person knows or cares about this story, BUT they are concerned about terrorism and Iraq. You need to prioritize.
My best shot?
Don't flatter yourself.
You'ld be flat out on a stretcher!
Substance, as in substance abuse?
The content of John Kerry's argument can be 'distilled' to the following:
"Bush didn't do one thing wrong, he did everything wrong."
His memory of glib responses written by handlers is not being disputed. It is his character if indeed he brought his scripts into the debate against the rules.
No one, even his supporters, believes anything other than: Kerry will not be Bush.
For Pubbies, that is a nightmare.
