I agree. I certainly do not think that it is a pen. I am just reporting what Drudge said.
Compared to committing treason, cheating is indeed a minor flaw.
But cheating in a Presidential election is something akin to treason. This is a big deal, he was trying to seel the American people a foreign policy competency (in a time of war!) that he does not possess and never has.
Sorry, this is serious business.
Look at that high rez video, it does look like a pen.
Msg # 804 the reality is Bush BLEW IT and thats how it will be seen in the history books. Non issue here.

Where were you on Thursday night? Did you watch the same debate as I did? Bush and Kerry? I don't see how you can say President Bush BLEW IT. The first shot of him as the question is being read to Kerry, he sees something on Kerry's podium and purses his mouth. You can see that something has upset him. MAYBE that piece of paper was there JUST TO UNNERVE him. But again, Kerry jumped to answer questions put to him much too quickly. Lehrer had barely finished asking the questions before Kerry was into his answers. THAT is not normal. Normally a person needs about 3 seconds to gather his thoughts and respond. Kerry was responding before the echo of Lehrer's voice died down.
That AND Kerry rattled off numbers/statistics like a quarterback who's calling plays he has written on his arm.
Sorry for the "Kerry and Football" analogy. lol
4-5 days? Is that Million Man Math or something? Apparently people have been talking about this on various blogs for a day or two, and it made the freeper board today. At any rate, the debate was only three days ago. It's a bit much, in my view, to decide cheating doesn't count because it wasn't immediately discovered. If, say, DU had discovered something like this with Bush, do you think it would be able to be dismissed because it didn't gain traction until several days after the debate?
Was it just me, or was F'n writing down stuff every time W was saying something?
Sorry to say this, but look at the feed at http://homepage.mac.com/cfj/.Movies/JFKCheat.mov .
It looks a lot to me to be a pin. The motion isn't him unfolding paper, he is putting the cap on his pen.
Both sides were supplied with a pen and paper at the podiums.
Yes, both of them took notes. That was within the rules.
I've looked at your posting history. I smell troll.
Looks to me like a FIST FULL of cheat cards.
Ugh, Look at the video and make up your own mind. Don't just label me a troll and be done with it.
Msg #833 Come on man, be real ..No one is as sick over what happened that nigh tas I am but I'm not going to go overboard clutching at straws to find an answer. Ya cant prove anything at this point..so ..whats the point?

The point is, why don't you troll elsewhere?
The point is that there is clear evidence that something untoward occured during the debate process. The point is that it needs an explanation.
I've already emailed Jim Lehrer. I wonder how old I'll be when I receive a reply?
That bottom right picture is not a pen.
look here that is not a pen!

Looks far too "thick" to be a pen...and his motion certainly doesn't look like capping it. Why would you leave an uncapped pen in a designer suit?
