Did you also read Ebert's review of The Motorcycle Diaries? While he takes his compatriots on the left to task for worshipping a murderer like Guevera, he also has the gall to call Both Che and Castro "right wing" simply because they're "authoritarian!" I think too much Good n'Plenty is causing premature dementia in Rog.

Of all the dirty tricks in this unhappy presidential campaign, the most outrageous has been the ad campaign by the "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth," attempting to discredit John Kerry's service in Vietnam. Supporters of the malingering Bush have shamelessly challenged the war record of a wounded and decorated veteran. Their campaign illustrates the tactic of the Big Lie, as defined by Hitler and perfected by Goebbels: Although a little lie is laughed at, a Big Lie somehow takes on a reality of its own, through its sheer effrontery. Actually, this paragraph is the real illustration of the 'Big Lie.'
Unlike Ebert, those men were there.

Is that fat sissy still around? I thought his career ended when the other sissy died.

Hitler and Goebbels cited in the second sentence. Argument based on connection between O'Neil and Nixon a non-sequiter. No attempt to deal with Kerry's obviously fraudulent first Purple Heart. Shrapnel in knee no defense if the wound was caused by Kerry's knuckleheaded use of his own grenade.
All in all, pretty weak tea from Ebert.

That's a great chart you put together on Saddam/bin Laden links.
Good work.
