No worries..the internals of that poll are encouraging..it shows that the undecideds support Bush on the positions, they just thought Kerry was a better debater..who cares?

Yea, Bush was weak tonight..but Reagan looked 10x worse against Mondull in the first debate....also I think Bush had a few really good moments, particularly his response to Kerry's Global Test..Lurch is really gonna eat those 2 words in the next few weeks.

Holy smokes.

Bush is wacking Kerry after this debate in everything except winning the debate.

Who is the better Commander in Chief = Bush
Better in Iraq = Bush
Demonstrated he is tough enough for the job = Bush 54% to Kerry 37%
Better on issues I care about = Bush

Better, Better, Better = Bush

Poll results

Don't worry about how things looked tonight. Every knows Bush and where he stands. If anything comes out of the debate tonight it'll be that Kerry is as liberal as everyone says, doesn't have a good grasp on the how the real world works, and is also willing to tell lies in front of a national audience during a debate. Check out Drudge he already has 2 listed and I'm sure there are more where that came from. He's going to be made into mince as the transcripts of this debate get scrutinized.

Bush wins post debate on "More Likeable", "Agrees with you more on the issues you care about", "Demonstrated he's tough enough for the job", and "More Beliveable".

This is exactly Rush said today the results would be - the guy is right again :)

I think Cheney will annilhate Edwards when they debate and actually increase Bush's lead in the foreign policy arena.

I agree. Edwards is an amoral advocate with a $200 haircut and near zero policy knowledge and experience. Cheney will mop the floor with him.

Ever have that dream that you show up at the big debate and the whole country is watching you and you suddenly realize that you forgot to study for it because you were hugging hurricane victims all day and now you can't think of all the good stuff you were planning to say? And to top it off, they forgot to fill your water glass?

One thing I learned tonight is that the Kerry Freakazoids are organized with the online polls and comments on local websites. It is scary. We will have to kick a$$ with GOTV on election day if we stand a chance. Everybody get down to Bush HQ and give some time!

I looked very closely at the trends. The trends favor the 2000 debates.. except Bush scored way higher on job toughness, believaiblity and likeability...

Plus he didnt say he would give Iran nuke material or have to "pass a global test" to defend america.

"And to top it off, they forgot to fill your water glass? "

Awww did that really happen to him? It is so sad sounding at 12 o clock that it makes me want to cry.

I honestly believe that Bush wants the job because he wants to protect americans. I think kerry wants the job because it would go nicely with his 8000 dollar bicycle.

So who won? Doesn't sound at all like Kerry did.

My take was that Kerry was better stylistically, but Bush cleaned his clock on substance. Which one matters more? Stay tuned...

And I think the result of this debate will put Kerry in a bigger hole because Breck girl will be shown to be the lightweight he is.

Instapolls are crap. If they're accurate, then Gore should be President today.

Thanks for the link.

IF these first poll results are accurate, this first debate will be known as a pyrrhic victory for Kerry. Or otherwise, the operation was a success but the patient died.
