The media started "flood the zone" coverage of shark attacks during a slow news period. People came up with a theory that because the media was reporting it, there were more shark attacks than usual. But there weren't.

So, too, with the media hype about the dangers to health posed by "black mold" - which has been around ever since human beings built houses in which to live and which suffered occasional water damage. Now all of a sudden "black mold" is sufficient cause for lawsuits. Yet another example of JUNK SCIENCE. Yet another example of the amazing number of FRIVOLOUS LAWSUITS, the cost of favorable verdicts being passed on to the rest of us to the tune of $2800 per year and growing.

If it rains more, it is global warming.

If it rains less, it is global warming.

If it gets hotter, it is global warming.

If it gets colder, it is global warming.

Does that about cover it?

Actually, yes. But it is called climate change and the result will be all of these things in different places. It is happening most assuredly. The question is whether man is the cause.

Global warming is expected to erase skidmarks in chartreuse skivvies. Now, where do I go for that grant money (and which bill is Grant on, anyway)?

It is well known that hurricanes thrive on warm temperatures. Ever wonder why there are none in the winter? Since "global warming" is a "fact", then a prediction of stronger hurricanes is completely logical.

Junk in, junk out.

What a waste of super computers. I bet this bunch could prove that Earth is flat if it would further their agenda

"I question the timing of this report."

It's simple, "professors" need more grant money, publish or perish!

I would bet that if there were no hurricanes so far this year, the headline would be that increased global warming had decreased their likelihood.

I know that the Bush Cheney environmental policies killed every dinosaur on earth. The smog, gasses and selfish humans did it.

We just had the coolest August down here in the last 115 years.

That's because Florida sucked up all the heat with hurricanes.

All your global warming are belong to us.

I can't wait for the NYT to proclaim that the volcanic activity at Mt. St. Helens is the result of global warming -- turned inward.
