As a rule, I always show up at least an hour before a meeting. I consider the Power Point media computer sytems, and other considerations from servers to client systems. Then there are the white boards, chairs/seating for the audience. I NEVER ASSUME that the location will be set up as I expect the locale to be.

My first presentation, I showed up on time, expecting that everything would work and, of course, nothing did. Murphy's law in action. So I decided that for my next presentation I would arrive 2 hours ahead of time. I would make sure that all the hardware and software was working and everything was in place. I would leave NOTHING to chance.

However, I forgot that Murphy is relentless. The flight was delayed due to bad weather and not only did I not arrive 2 hours early, I arrived 1 hour late.

The media vultures and the Dem Rats are heartlessly trottng these poor girls out and forcing them to extend their misery, instead of allowing them to quietly heal with friends and family, as hundreds of other 9-11 widows are doing.

These women are letting themselves be exploited. Getting Bush out of office has become their reason for living.

When Dubya was Governor of Texas, my son was his driver when he toured a college campus in the western part of the state. My son was waiting in the parking lot for the Governor to finish part of his tour, when suddenly Dubya got into the front seat of the vehicle and said, "Son, let's go..." My son said, "But sir, the Texas Rangers aren't here yet." To which Dubya replied, "Let's go, son. They'll catch up soon enough!" He drove off and indeed, the Texas Rangers caught up!
